5 person rooms?

Hi, none of the value resorts and only POR in the Moderate resorts offer 5 people to a room. There is an extra charge (I think $15.00 a night) for a trundle bed at POR. Otherwise you have to book at a Deluxe Resort, which not everyone can afford. If you get a discount code or find some special deal it can be quite a bit cheaper than their rack rate. You also have the option of booking 2 rooms that are adjoining at a value or moderate resort, but that can add up too. I know there are also "junior suites" at some of the moderates, but the rates for them are about the same as a standard room at a deluxe resort. Hope this helps..

think the swan & dolphin can sleep 5, also some of DTD hotels. I know these aren't actual disney resorts but hope it helps!

Did I read the AKL info correctly? Does the Deluxe queen room have a queen a bunk bed and a daybed?

TIA!

Angel1: yes, there are some rooms at AKL that have a queen bed, bunk beds and day bed to sleep 5; they are called deluxe rooms and you have to specify at booking you want one of these rooms (I believe they are limited in number)

kitkatsmom:
All the deluxe resorts (Poly, CR, GF, YC/BC, BW, AKL) offer 2 double beds and a day bed in some of their rooms (again, room availability may be limited and such a room should be reserved at booking). I believe WL offers a deluxe room set-up (used to be called junior suites) that accomodate 6 people but not sure of the actual configuration. I'm sure someone will jump in to describe it for you!

Fort Wilderness Cabins sleep 6 and you get a full kitchen as well with it. They are cheaper and larger than the rooms at the deluxes (well besides the 2-br suite we got at the AKL. That was HUGE - 2.5 baths!)

The Yacht Club rooms have 2 queen beds in them, not 2 double beds!
Over at the Dophin you can stay with 5, but you have to pay for the rollaway bed. The Swan can not accomodate a party of 5.

The Swan booked my familyoffive into a club level room. All of the deluxe hotels except for BWI will let you have 5 in a room. You need to get 2 rooms or a deluxe room at WL and AKL. This is all variable depending upon the ages of your family. If one of the children are under 3, they do not count against your room count.

The deluxe rooms at AKL do accomodate 5, although I understand they are smallish. I have heard the largest are the rooms at the CR.

The rooms at CR are huge and you would have no problem fitting in a roll away.

Our room at the Poly had a day bed that was quite large; my son slept on that even though there was a queen size bed for him.

POR will charge for the trundle if you request it. We always request a room in the AB section and have always had a trundle that we didn't have to pay $15/night for.

The CR Tower rooms have two double beds plus a day bed/couch - plenty of room for 5!
