Does hrh charge for the extra person in the room? We want to stay there for 2 nights so we can take advantage of FOTL at the parks before we stay at our timeshare.

Most hotels only allow 4 guests per room....any more and they'll most likely make you get two rooms. Not sure if Universal does this....but every other hotel, including disney, does.
I would check the website.

Which at the bottom says "number of guests not to exceed 5 guests"

You can have 5 in a room in any room except for a King or a King Suite. We stayed at RPR last June with 5 in our room and it was not a problem. It lets you know on the reservation site how many are allowed per room. Each of us received a room key and we bought wallet lanyards in the gift shop to put them in for easy access.

Oh, and you asked about whether or not they charge for an extra person. I believe that they do charge extra for each adult after the first two, but I'm not sure how much, but if you want to rent a rollaway bed, the charge is an extra $25 per night. I also know that the deluxe rooms at HRH have a sofa bed, so there would be no need for a rollaway.

You can have people people in a standard room BUT if you have more than 2 adults, you are charged extra.

Right, you can have people people but if you have people people people you will be charged.:rotfl: Sorry, just being silly.

Hahahahahahaha. Did I actually write that? That's what 7 hours in a row of tutoring Calculus students will do to ya!!!! It gives you an aversion to writing numbers.

What age is considered an adult? I would bring an airmattress for the 5th person.

We've stayed at HRH 4 times and RP once with 5 in the room - 2 adults, 3 kids. We weren't charged for the extra person. I was asked if we wanted a rollaway for an extra charge but I declined. We brought our own air mattress or sleeping bag.

That is the big plus for us to stay at a Universal hotel - they allow 5 in a room!

If you can't book the HRH, then go for the PBH. The rooms are slightly larger, and the bathroom is huge.
