I just posted 5 pages of Pop Century pics that you can access at the following URL:

Thanks SO much to all the people whose pics I "borrowed" for this site...I hope it can become a centralized site for photos and maps, etc of Pop Century. A special thanks to Tyler and to Stephen Johnson, who frequent the Pop Century thread on this board.

The server should be working fine (finally)...but the first time you go to the site, it will take a while for the pics to load. If you see a bright orange background, you are connected, so be patient...the pics will load eventually. Once they've loaded, it will be much quicker the next time.

Can you walk over the bridge to the other side - I know the building aren't finished, but it would still be nice to have a walk across.

My understanding is that you can walk all the way across the bridge, but then you are stopped at the other side. Obviously, the CM who took the photos on the other side got over there

Thanks so much for sharing your pics! You have helped make our decision about which on-site hotel. My 4 year DS saw the pics and said he wants to stay at that hotel. It was the choice between POP or Movies. We are scheduling a trip for Oct.2005. He will be 5 years old at the time of the trip.

I downloaded a program called Keyhole nVidia (had to pay for it, but not very expensive if I remember right), which allows you to fly (at any height and angle) anywhere in the country looking at recently-taken satellite photos. It even permits 3D viewing! The photos get automatically updated every few months.

Some of the areas in the country have photos at ULTRA high resolution (literally you can see individual people in parts of Boston, for example...fun but kinda scary)

By the way, there will be times where the server misbehaves and you won't connect to the pages...if so wait a bit and try again.
