5 night On Dream or 4 night on Wish?

*edit* I just realized the 5 night won’t work cause DD would miss trick or treating at home and, while to me missing that isn’t a huge deal, DD loved it last year. At least that makes my decision easy. Just worried I’m going to feel let down by so few days on the ship. ***

I know the Wish is still a lot of unknowns but I was just looking at cruise prices and realized that we could sail on the dream for 5 nights for 200ish less than what we are paying to sail on a 4 night on the Wish.

I’ve never sailed less than 7 nights on a cruise so I’m worried the 4 night is going to feel too short…but I’ve also never cruised as a mom (daughter will be 3).

I’ve also not been on a disney cruise in many, many, many years. And when I was on a disney cruise I was only on the Magic. So I don’t know much about the Dream.

the main purpose of this cruise is for my daughter to have an amazing time. I want her to have enough things to keep her entertained. She loves Anna/elsa, which is why I went with the Wish originally but she really loves all the princesses pretty equally. She does not know anything Marvel and neither do I (although I might try to watch the movies before we go).

the 4 night stops at Nassau and CC and the 5 night stops at Grand Cayman and CC. Both are Halloween cruises and both our end of October cruises.

normally it would be a no brainer and 5 nights would be better than 4 nights (plus I prefer Grand Cayman over Nassau) but do you think Wish is going to have a better experience to make it better than a 5 night cruise?

I'm firmly in the "longer is better" camp. So 5 nights will win out over 4.

That said, at some point, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and do a "short" cruise on the Wish. We prefer 7-10 nights minimum for a cruise.

I was looking at this as well. It looks like we could do the 5 or even a 6 night on the Dream out of Miami next year for cheaper or the same amount as a 4 night on the Wish. We definitely want to check it out at some point but after 2 4-nights on the Dream we have grown accustom to the ship and would like to try one that has different stops other than Nassau.

I skim so I might have missed it but, I think this is part of your WDW trip… I think you’ve already decided 5 nights… I too am on the longer cruise train… I live right outside WDW and hands down prefer a 1 hour drive over a 3+ hour drive to the ships… whatever you end up choosing which sounds like the Dream I hope you have an amazing time!
