We have four kids and are hoping to do the next two years in one bedroom units before we need to start using two bedrooms. Next year, we will have two kids still in pack n plays. I was thinking we would need to stay at BLT, GFV, or AKL.

Do we have any other options? My understanding is that BWV and BCV would sleep five if the member provided bedding. Is that 5 plus an infant? Thanks!

It should work at VGF. We stayed there last March with 5 adults and 1 infant in a 1BR. We had my daughter and SIL in the bedroom, and they set up the pack n play for their son in the bedroom walkin closet. We stayed on the sofa bed, and my other daughter stayed on the fold-down bed. I wish we had had 1 more bathroom, but other than that it was fine.

In your case, you could have the 2 adults in the bedroom, 2 kids on the sofa bed, and 2 pack n plays wherever. OR 1 kid on sofa, 1 on fold-down bed. 1 Pack n Play is provided in the room, so you may want to bring a second one. The pack n play is a generic one, not the kind that includes a bed of a newborn and a changing table, so if you need that stuff, bring both.

Sorry, I cannot comment on BWV or BCV.

In the resorts where they officially sleep four in the one bedroom (one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa), you may be limited to four plus one or five. Not five plus one. Those would be SSR, BCV, BWV, VWL. OKW sleeps five plus one.

The online system will allow you to book 5 plus an infant for BWV 1 bedroom. I didn't try any of the others. I don't recommend it because all you have for bedding is 1 king, 1 queen sleep sofa & the portable crib (although you could request another Pac 'n Play or a crib from housekeeping since you will need two).

All star movies has suites
Yes, it does, but it's not a DVC property. Points per night range from 30 to 59 (depending on season and day of the week). There's also a $95 fee for the reservation and should you need to cancel, it could be very difficult to reuse the points. For the same or fewer points per night, BLT & AKV give you more space, a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and several other amenities not provided by the All Star suites.

Let's just compare a one bedroom to an All Star Suite size wise, the AS suites were made by combining two rooms so the footage totals 520 Sq. ft. However, DVC 1BRs 629 sq. ft. for a value 1BR up to 942 sq. ft. for an OKW 1BR. DVC 2 BRs range from 945 - 1395 sq. ft. The DVC rooms are definitely more roomy. And don't cost that much more point wise.
