5 In A Room At Wl?

I know that several months ago, I read on these boards that WL had a Deluxe "Standard" room. I don't want a 2-room junior suite. Someone mentioned the deluxe standard is one room with 2 queens and a daybed. Anyone else know about this?? I've heard of people booking a standard room for 4 and taking an air mattress for the 5th person....I am not comfortable doing something like that. I want to do it the right way. I keep checking all kinds of web sites for the WL, but nothing shows floor plans for a deluxe standard. Would appreciate any info.

The deluxe "standard" room is actually one of the junior suites. They have the two queens and queen sleeper sofa. All the other rooms (standard, woods, courtyard, concierge) have either 1 king, 2 queens, or a queen and bunk beds.

AKL has a deluxe room with 2 queen beds and a day bed.

We sure will ! We will be in on the 5th of Jan untill the 10th. I am still trying to figure out what room to request for a view of the water parade.We are staying in the deluxe rooms are they all on the ends?

That's great that ALK Lodge has Deluxe rooms with daybeds. I just wonder why WL doesn't. Poly and Contemp.also have rooms with daybeds. I really really want to stay at the WL, but with 5 of us, I just don't want to pay the price for a "suite". I'm very sad right now.

AKL's deluxe rooms have either 2 queens, 1 king & daybed, or 1 queen/bunks/daybed. There are no rooms at AKL with two queen beds and a daybed.

Wilderness Lodge doesn't have any 2 queen & daybed rooms due to the room sizes. Their regular rooms are 340 square feet, and 500 square feet for a deluxe room. There is no way a daybed would fit into one of the standard rooms. AKL's regular rooms are 344 square feet, and their deluxe rooms are 381 square feet (same as Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk). The Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary all have 400+ square foot rooms.
