5 in a room at the Dolphin

Will the Dolphin accept a party of 5 in one room? I'm very intrigued by the $139 a night, but we have three kids including two teens. Is there an extra adult fee for an 18-year-old? Is a rollaway still $25. How big is the room in comparison to Yacht Club?

Hi -

It is $25 per night for the rollaway (this I am sure of) and IIRC another $25 per night for each additional adult over 2. A possible $75 per night increase so I would call to check. Its an 800 number so no $ out of pocket. This said, for a large group I like the Dolphin as its a large room and has the sinks outside of the bathroom. We have stayed in a traditional balcony room with 2 adults and 3 kiddos so our only extra charge was for the rollaway.

I stayed in the BC with 3 adults and it was cramped, IMHO. It seemed as if the Dolphin rooms are bigger but I couldn't say for sure. Even here not all the rooms have the daybed so that could be an issue as well as the additional charge per adult over 2. Perhaps the special Swan& Dolphin rates would apply to a suite?

We have stayed at the Dolphin and I have 2 teenage sons (19 and 17). Both could not sleep comfortably in the double bed. We did not get a rollaway since both boys insisted it wasn't necessary - they would sleep on the floor. Go figure! The boys took turns sleeping on the floor. We made up a comfy sleeping area using the comforter and blankets. Actually, older DS prefered the floor because he said it helped to not hear his father's loud snoring every night!

So, 5 can fit with a rollaway. It depends on how 2 feel about sharing a double bed.
