I totally agree about SW flights. We always book early and then rack up the credits as we go. For our May graduationtrip/cruise, we have already gotten $250 in credits (there are 5 of us going). I really want to book my flights, but I will be using points for our free flights, so I have to wait until I have actually taken the flights that are earning those points

You guys are going to have a blast, I can already tell!

For an upset stomcach try ginger or ginger snaps (or gingerale) I have been told to use these on our cruise. I have ginger pills, but they give me really bad heartburn, so I'm gonna try to find gingersnaps to eat instead.

lol timmies is Tim Hortons the best coffee in the world, and Which Wich is at the Buffalo airport so you can't blame Canada for that one

BTW - when we at LE Cellier, we were talking to our waiter and mentioned that we wish they had TH coffee at the resort and in the room to wake up iwth in the morning instead of the nescafe crap..

He told us to wait a minute and came back with a small package with fresh TH grounds for us to use in our room!!!

Of course, we never got to use them as we had no filters...

If you are eating at LC, you might mention that you are from Brampton, that the nesacfe is crap and you miss your TH and see if you can get any sympathy coffee from them...

Shopping!


I did a bit of shopping this weekend. Not too much, I'm all about getting a little bit here and there this trip. I was forced to however because Ariana's swimsuit was in desperate need of replacement. She swims once a week at school all year round and the chlorine has really done a number on it.


It was great timing, all the bathing suits are out in the stores now, so I headed up to Walmart hoping to find the same suit we'd bought her last year. It was a cute fit and had a little skirt along the bottom that looked nice on her.


Woo hoo! They had them! I got one as her replacement for school, and another for our trip.

As a little before and after demonstration, the one on the right is what her school suit started out as. The one on the left is how it looks now.

I also picked up a suit for Demetri that will be tucked away until our trip.

Oh and a pair of shoes I particularly liked will also get tucked away. Swinging by the pharmacy, I grabbed a few more things....

Ginger Gravol! It says it's non-drowsy so I'm hoping that's the solution for my flight queasiness.

The travel section was loaded today with new stuff -- suntan lotion, Ariana's deodorant, hairspray. That travel pack was $4.97 and it came full of brand items that I regularly use -- shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and travel brush, hand cream, body wash and wipes. Great deal!


I have my suitcase on a table in my bedroom and I'm tossing things for the trip into it.

Countdown Chain


This weekend I'd wanted to do our countdown chain and then have our first movie night on Tuesday. Items needed?

1. Disney countdown paper links
2. scissors
3. stapler

4. Children to help put together paper links



We had it down to a system, Demetri would hold up a single paper link and quiz Ariana on the characters on them. Then he'd hand them to me and I'd use the scissors to cut the links and then the stapler to close the links. While I was cutting and stapling, he'd be quizzing Ariana on the next link.

All was going beautifully until halfway thru the chain, the stapler stopped working. Darnit. I'll have to borrow one from my office for the night to finish it off. If we can finish it tomorrow we can still get movie night in. If we run out of time, we'll have to start next week.


Coming up -- Our group is attending a very special upcoming Disney event. Can anyone guess what it might be? HINT: Canadians play a national sport on this surface......

My suggestion would be to wear those shoes a bit this summer or else you will have sore feet on our trip But they are very cute shoes!!

What does george thing of the suitcase in the room? Whats in the Dollarama bag????

Am going to guess you are going to see Disney on Ice as it is the only thing that springs to mind - I could be completely off the mark though

We've had fun with this chain, quizzing Ariana... up to the point where the stapler broke anyway. Last trip we made ours with stamps and though it was fun, it took so long I told myself my next one would have NO stamping!

As long as he doesn't fall over it, George doesn't care about the suitcase. You know I already forget what's in the Dollarama bag other than glow sticks!

I knew her suit was faded but didn't realize how much until I brought home the new one - crazy! The shoes are so soft and cushy and it has a velvet soft fabric .... all while looking so pretty.

Yes!! You are correct.... we're all going to Disney on Ice this weekend. We bought our tickets at different times but oddly enough got the same section. Details coming up.
