5 free nights at BVC???

Pumbaa mentions something about "5 free nights for buying BCV" in this thread.

During the pre-sales of BCV back in February, you could either choose $5 off per point or a number of free nights at a WDW resort based on the number of points purchased.

No, I don't remember exactly when they stopped this. I think it was around June 1st.

Also the free nights applied only to certain WDW hotels. They did not apply to any of the DVC accommodations.

I think this was only during pre-sales, before BCV opened. And the free nights have to be used by July 2003. DH and I used our 5 "free" nights in October at the Polynesian.

It was just a special to compensate for points that were being purchased when they could not actually be used. You had a choice of cash back or booking at other WDW hotels. Since BCV is open, the program is no longer needed.
