5 for 3 ticket ?

Thinking about staying at DLH this summer. Could I purchase the package with hotel and 5 day tickets and upgrade the ticket to a southern California citypass once I get there? Is it possible? How much would that cost?

I really doubt you can do that since the pass is a special pass not a ticket..I am also curious about this answer.

You mean the actual citypass with Universal and the SD zoo, etc? no, b/c that's not sold by Disney.

At first I thought you meant an AP, which would be yes (except you don't live in So Cal so you're not allowed to get a So Cal AP so you'd have to get a deluxe or premium), but blackjack's reply made me re-read your question!

Hmmm? I would think it would be worth calling and asking. Since Disney does sell the tickets from their ticket booths it might be possible.

I was pricing out our package on the Costco Travel site and noticed you can choose different ticket options ie 2 day hopper, buy 3 get 2 free, buy 4 get 2 free and Southern California City pass. It would then reprice the package according to which ticket you select. When I chose the City Pass it gave me an upgraded price from a 3 day Disney ticket.

I was hoping to choose the buy 3 get 2 free ticket for my package and then upgrade at the gate; thus giving us extra 2 days at Disney for free.

I hope this makes sense. I am just so use to upgrading WDW tickets. I have no idea how Disneyland stuff works.

The answer is that the City Pass is a different promotion and is a day hopper. It is unaffected by the 5 for 3 promotion.
