5 days til we leave and we're getting a big storm !

I still have to pack and get together all the stuff we need. I was supposed to go and see my new nephews on Saturday but not sure it's going to happen anymore. Way too much to do and snow I'll be stuck in the house ! Guess the van won't get cleaned out for the drive but hoipefully we'll get everything else done and we'll clean it out as we pack. yes, we're driving down to FL from NH in the middle of winter.

How long a drive is that? Making me car sick just thinking about it!

14 hours to my sisters in NC and then another 9 hrs from there. Nice long drive with a 6, 8, and 13 yr old plus myself, my DH, my mother, and my Aunt.

Driving down from NY in 4 weeks!

We left during a big storm 2 years ago, that was horrible We were stuck in traffic for 5 hours due to the snow and in those 5 hours only moved 2.5 miles Now, we always check the weather weeks in advance and if there is the slightest chance of snow, we leave early! We would NEVER put ourselves through that again.
