WE WILL BE GOING IN JAN WITH OUR 4 & 5 YEAR OLD. I'M NOT SURE IF THEY'LL ENJOY EPCOT OR MGM THAT MUCH. I WAS THINKING 2 DAYS AT MAGIC KINGDOM, 1 DAY AT ANIMAL KINGDOM, AND THE REST OF THE TIME DIVIDE BETWEEN THE OTHER TWO AND THE WATER PARKS. DOES ANY HAVE DIFFERENT SUGGESTIONS?

We always try to go to Epcot, but we just don't find a whole lot that we like to do. My DD5 likes the Living Seas thing (not exactly sure of the name), but other than that, we just end up walking around alot and seeing characters. At MGM there are a few more things that she enjoys: the muppet show, the HISTK playground, little mermail show, bear in the big blue house, etc. We almost always spend at least part (if not most!!) of the day in the MK...we never seem to get tired of it. Hope you guys have a great time!

Water parks in Jan you will have to play by ear.

We usually have 5 park days; and here's what we do. We usually spend 1 full day in each park. It may not be all in one day. We may go to AK in the morning and MGM in the afternoon. Then we go back to AK another morning or afternoon during our trip. It usually works out that we have spent the equivelant of 1 full day in each park. Even though we always think we don't need a full day for Epcot or MGM, we always do!:D Our 5th day is usually spent in MK or we may park hop and hit our favorites before the end of our trip!

THANKS!!!
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEE EVERYTHING IN MAGIC KINGDOM IN ONE DAY. I'M NOTTALKING ABOUT ALL THE SHOWS, BUT THE BIG STUFF? I WAS THINKING WE'D GO THERE ARE FIRST AND LAST DAYS.
I THANKS FOR BRING UP THE WATER PARKS DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY WILL BE OPEN IN JAN OR IF IT'LL BE TOO COLD. I'VE EVER THAT IT'S NORMALLY HIGH 70'S LOW 80'S THAT TIME OF YEAR, BUT NOT FOR SURE.

I would say from some experience of having kids that age our first trip, definitely MK 2 days. It will take you that long to see and do all that you want to do there. Then kids have their favs and you go back and hit the high spots. MGM is not all big kid stuff. Take 1 day for all that MGM offers. AK is very spread out. See the shows there, do Kiliminjaro Safaris as soon as park opens, animals a lot more active then. Camp Mick-Min is fun for kids, also Boneyard little ones like as well. Lots of walking at AK. Epcot, try to catch what you think your family would be interested on Future world side. Then catch supper at a World showcase restaurant. This way you can be on world showcase side, take in the sights, sounds and smells while waiting for Illuminations. What a way to cap off a visit to Epcot. San Angel Inn and Le Cellier are 2 of our fav restaurants at Epcot.
Get a Birnbaums guide NOW if you dont have one, this way you can see exactly what WDW has to offer, in very good detail. That way, before you get there, youll know what you definitely want to see, but leave room for the little surprises, sometimes thats what makes a trip to WDW so special.
Most of all, Have Fun!
