Since we are not early risers (for some reason), we decided to skip early entry at Animal Kingdom (today is Monday) and went to MGM. After grabbing some breakfast at the Contemporary's Food & Fun Center, we hopped on a bus from the hotel to MGM.
After getting a bunch of autographs, we went to Playhouse Disney, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, ate lunch at the Backlot (?) restaurant, and went to Muppets 3-D. We walked around NY and spent a bit of time in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playgroung - big hit. The weather was great, so my daughter loved getting wet. Did some shopping and headed back to the Contemporary.
Did some swimming in the pool, rested up a little, and went back to the Magic Kingdom. The park was open until 8:30 today (April 28). Took some pictures from the train station and took the train to Mickey's Toon Town Fair. It was mobbed! Checked out Mickey and Minnie's houses, and then went to Tommorrowland. Rode the Indy cars, TTA, Astro Orbiter, and Buzz Lightyear. It was getting near fireworks time and we wanted to eat, but there was really nothing open - which surprised me. Went back to the Contemporary - got some sandwiches from the Food & Fun Center, and watched the fireworks from the balcony - excellent. Everyone was pretty tired tonight.
