5 day POP/6 day Park

Hi all. Thanks for your invaluable tips and strategies. I am in awe of all that goes into doing Disney!

We are 1st timers, family of 6. Package for 2 rooms Sun 8/24- Sat 8/30 at POP with free DP. Our flight out is now one day sooner - we'll be leaving Friday. Can I change my package to 6 or 7 day tickets and come to the park prior to check-in day? Flight in is 8/22 and staying somewhere off site til Sunday. Buying 2 day tickets separately doesn't make sense.

Currently I have park hopper on all tickets for all days. Can I change that to just 2 day park hopper and how does that effect the price? Obviously we are economizing every where possible.

Sadly you will not be able to come to the parks earlier than your Sunday Free Dining check in unless you purchase another set of tickets which will be quite pricey. (you can check it yourself at Disney.com)..

Might I suggest that you go to Disneyquest and DTD one of the two days that you need to fill? And depending on what time you are coming in on Friday you may just want to relax and hang out at the resort......or even if you want to go to a waterpark I believe those tickets are much less expensive than a Park ticket.

Not sure I understand, but parkhopper is a standard rate of $45 + tax regardless of length of tickets. Whether you buy a 1 day ticket or a 10 day ticket, it'll cost $45 + tax to turn than ticket into a parkhopper. So if you are adding parkhopping to your MYW ticket, it'll be for all the days of your ticket.
