Can someone please tell me how much a 5day park hopper would be if I purchased it at that gate? I see the Disneyland website has 5day hoppers valid in March while we are there, is this cheaper than the gate price? Also has anyone from Canada ever purchased advance tickets from the Disneyland website? Did they send you your tickets or did you have to pick them up at the gate? Please explain how that works. Thanks for the help.

I recommend going to the Walt Disney Travel Company instead of going to the gate. It is located in Downtown Disney around the corner from the bookstore at the end of Downtown Disney. From what I was told by them is that there prices are cheaper than the gate.

At the gate they will be $219 in March so you should probably buy them in advance to save $40 per ticket.

I called them once and they said you can not just buy them at that location. I was told I had to order them and I could pick them up from that DTD location.
Do you or someone you know work there? Maybe someone can tell me if it is true or not.

I actually went in there and told them what I needed. They thought I needed a 2 day park hopper but, I told them I needed 2- 1 day parkhoppers. They told me they did not sell the 1 day park hoppers but, they had the other park hoppers. I went in there over this past Memorial Day weekend. So, unless it's changed since then I would assume that it is the same. The gal I talked to over the phone at Disneyland was the person who actually suggested to me to go that route.

Remeber in March they have the 'everyone plays for the kids price' promotion so your 5 day park hoppers would be $159 I believe for all individuals.

I am not sure if that promotion is available at the ticket gate or not.

As you were asking about CAD pricing....
Check out your prices before you leave. Most often it is cheaper to buy up here from a travel agent. If you are in BC, check out BCAA or whatever AA club is in your province. Thomas Cook TA also sells the passes here. Sometimes the same or near the price, just in CAD.

good luck!

5-day DLR PH will be $229 at the gate starting on 1/3/07

Everyone Plays at the Kids' Price runs from 1/3-4/26/07 & 5-day DLR PH would be $159 advance purchase on the Disney website.

After that runs out, adv. purchase prices will be $189.

If tix are cheaper up in Canada, definitely look into it there. As for other places, some may have cheaper ticket prices (even for Everyone Plays at the Kids' Price), but my experience has been that they typically have a ticket handling charge per ticket or order or they just charge you for shipping which, depending on the number of tickets you'll need, may still be cheaper.

If you're concerned about ordering from Disney online & picking up the tickets when you get there, the Will Call ticket booths are completely separate from the ridiculously long, regular ticket booths & it shouldn't take very long to get your tickets there PLUS no danger of forgetting to bring the tickets with you & paying the gate prices then.

If you buy them online from the Disneyland website, (which I would because of the great deal "Everyone Plays At Kids Prices") they will mail the actual tickets to you. They are the "real" tickets, NOT ticket vouchers. You'll receive them about a week after you order them. :thumbsup2

Shipping is only included for free for tickets shipped to the U.S. & for some reason, it's always said contiguous U.S. I don't know what the difference mailing USPS to Hawaii or Alaska is, but maybe there's some potential time problem since they say it will be delivered within 10 days.

As for Canada, I'm not sure what their Canadian or International shipping policy is, but I would still recommend advance purchase & pickup at Will Call. You can always contact DL Ticketing at 714-781-4400 to get it straight from the source.

Hopefully, someone who's ordered internationally or from Canada can post soon. Also, if anyone's ordered from Alaska or Hawaii, have you had them mailed for free?

Oh, I absolutely agree with this. I checked the DL website and the international shipping charge for tickets is $20. :earseek: (I don't know why in the world it would cost so much to ship tickets, which fit in a regular sized envelope, to Canada or anyplace else for that matter. It would only cost me the cost of a stamp or two. :confused3 )

Anyway, no problem. Just order them and pick them up at the will call window. :thumbsup2
