Currently, Disneyland is offering the 5-day park hopper for the price of 3. Does anyone know if I use it for 3 days, can I give it to someone else so that they can use the other 2 days?

I thought I read it somewhere that now they require each park hopper to be only used by one person. Is this correct?

Thanks

I don't think you are supposed to do that but how would they really know...The hopper passes don't have names or anything. Just make sure if they have any expiration date that they are used before that time.

They have always required that the pass be used only by the person who purchases it originally. Tickets are not transferable.

When you first use the hopper at the park, do you need to show an ID or something? How do they make sure only only the purchaser is the user?

I am buying 4 hoppers for Xmas, do I need to put their names somewhere? If I give them to my brother who lives in CA, would he be able to use them?

Thanks

The Hoppers are totally different than WDW. They are actually paper so be very careful with them. They can be purchased one person and used by someone else. You are technically required to sign them on your first entry (doesn't necessarily happen). Only until a signature is applied does any identification get tagged on a Hopper.

They are not intended to be transferred for use by more than one person. Disney sets the price according by forecasting the average number of days used. Usage above this would only serve to make price increases even more astronomical in the long run.

They also EXPIRE 13 days after first use.

If you are asking can it be done, simply but YES it can, as long as the pass is not signed (they never asked us to sign them or asked for ID). Should you do it, probably not.

I have been asked to show ID a couple of time in the past, but most of the time they don't even look at the name on the park pass.

Thanks so much. Now I know the rules. This will be our first time going to Disneyland and just not sure how these tickets work.

Thanks again.
