We are staying at Royal Pacific in a Kings Suite this summer and I started looking at tickets. We want to experience all 3 parks with park-to-park option. We are there 7 nights and we were hoping to use partial days on arrival and departure. Is 5 days the longest available? Can I add days at some kind of discount or will we need to by single day tickets if we want to go into the parks more than 5 days?

I would consider an annual pass, but that does not seem to include VB...

Thanks!

If you are staying at the same universal hotel onsite for 7 days call because they have a longer ticket available if booked as part of a package. At least they did when we were there in April. It was less expensive then an annual pass and had no blackout dates.

What about a 3 park seasonal pass? If my memory serves me correctly, month of July is blacked out though at Universal and Islands and at VB from mid June through mid August. Since you mentioned that you are staying on site, park parking isn’t a concern, so perhaps the Seasonal Pass could work? You could also get a discount on on site rooms booked with an Annual Pass.:goodvibes:thumbsup2

Check out the stay more save more hotel rates

A 7 night stay sometimes beats an ap rate

Depends on the dates

Thank you for the replies. I did not see that 3 park annual pass tab.

Looks like I'll need to decide between the annual and 5 day as I'm not booking as part of a package. (Booking Royal via credit card rewards).

Thanks again!

We were in the same boat staying 7 nights. We ended up buying the Explorer tickets through Musement.

Great info. I’ve been looking at British sites that sell these, and give you hard tickets. But international shipping fees take away any savings.
With this vendor you have to use email printed ticket which is less desirable, I’d rather have a hard ticket that I can put in lanyard, but not enough to add shipping fee of $40 lol!
Have you used them yet? How did printed tickets hold up? We will be there 10 days. I’m going to wait on buying tickets till AP rates for April come out, to see if room rate is better than my SMSM rate. If it is I’ll buy seasonal AP.

Yes, we used them last week. We were there 10/27 - 11/3. I don't like the printed ticket either, so the first thing we did was exchange them all (park and Halloween horror night tickets) at guest services for the credit card size ones that we put in our lanyards. It couldn't have been easier. The worst part was waiting in line for a guest service rep. Lol.

Great! I didn’t know Guest Service would exchange them for the credit card size ones! Thanks. Are they park to park tickets?

Yes, they are park to park tickets. We used the Hogwarts Express repeatedly during our stay.

One more question! Are their tickets dated? I’m trying to buy for end of April and on their web site you have to pick your dates. They are only going up to March so far. I guess you have to pick your specific start date for ticket?

I never really understood why the website had you pick the dates the way it does. I purchased ours in February for use in October. The actual ticket has no specific date requirements other than it must be used during the year. Our tickets were called 2018 3-Park Explorer and the fine print says "this ticket expires in full on January 13th, 2019". It's my hunch that regardless of what date you pick in 2019 on their website, you'll get the 2019 Explorer ticket, that simply needs to be used during the year.

I don’t u derstsnd it either. But I’m afraid to just put in March date, then when I arrive at the gate I’m out the $$$$. I did the online chat with them asking if I need specific date and was told yes. But maybe they don’t know. It does seem odd. Good to know tickets don’t have a specific arrival date.
