I got an email today reminding me I had a dining reservation for the 1/6. At the bottom it said:

Payment and Cancellation Policy
There is a 5-day cancellation policy and a full price charge if you cancel within 5 days of the reservation or are a "no show" for the reservation.

I thought you had 24 hours to cancel dining reservations. Either way, I was already charged when I made the reservation to begin with.

Was it just a 'regular' ADR? I know when I made ADRs a few days ago for the Wishes dessert party it was a 5 day cancellation and I believe the Fantasmic dining package was a 2 day cancellation window. So obviously some dining events/places do gave a more restrictive cancellation policy.

Might depend on which ADR it is. Some events have different cancellation policies. It's kind of a giveaway that this is not a regular reservation when it says there will be a full-price charge for a no-show, and you paid up front. Most reservations have a $10 per person no show charge - not full price.

I was wondering the same thing...

It was for Wishes and we did make it, but it was very cold. With wind chill it was in the 30s so we did not get to enjoy much of the desserts because it was just too cold to eat them. We all had several cups of hot chocolate though. Because of the temps, a lot of people did not show so there was plenty of room. I got some great pictures of the castle and fireworks.

Seeing as it was for the Wishes dessert party, which is a special event, they may well have a 5 day cancellation deadline for that - I don't know for sure as I've never booked one.

The Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party is a 5 day cancellation policy. This policy is new this season. Last season the cancellation policy was 24 hours.

Okay, then I'm not crazy. I looked back at my original email when I made the reservation and it said 24 hours.
