I know normally you can cancel a room only reservation 5 days prior and not loose any money. I was wondering does this rule apply to holiday bookings?
Specifically, I have a hotel room booked for New Year's Eve. It's the most expensive room I've ever booked and I'm not sure if being there for New Years is worth the cost, but it's such an amazing room (one bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower theme park view) that seems impossible to get again if I were to cancel. My boyfriend thinks it'll be great (but I paid for the room entirely so it's up to me to keep or not)
So would I still have up until 5 days to cancel this or is the policy different because it's a holiday?
