This will be my 4th Disney Cruise and DH first. Thought it would be perfect for him. We are adding four days before and two after I think.
Can't wait we are on deck 6.... first dinning.

Hello all!!

It was 30 days ago today that I boarded The Magic and headed for warm waters, blue skies and white sand. I SO wish I was there today too!!!

Football season is officially over, so we will now have some sort of normalcy in our lives again.

Started Christmas shopping and nearly have the boys finished! Going to wrap what I have bought so peeking eyes won't spoil the surprises!!

The boys spent the night with friends last night, so I will wrap this morning and maybe Steve and I will go out shopping for a little before we pick them up!

HI all!!

It's FRIIIIIDAYY!!!

Jacquelyn, I have no ideas, I am not very creative. I would do something with maybe a patriotic Mickey, being as it's over Memorial Day, and maybe 2 Castaway Cay logos...one on eithe side, since it's a double dip? I dunno, that's all I've got! Or maybe something with Mickey and a beach umbrella since it's summer kick off?

Not much going on here. turned in football equipment yesterday. Yeah! I much rather like sitting here at the table then sitting there at the football field. But Connor loved it and will play again next year!

Made a ressie for BEACH CLUB starting June 14! We are very excited!! We have never stayed there, but I have always ADORED the resort! We took advantage of the 4/3 promo and saved about $1300 on the ressie! The boys are already making a list of where they want to eat! LOL

What's everyone's plans for Thanksgiving? We are going to my sister's new house. She now lives about 2.5 hours away instead of 4.5. I need to take the pies, 2 pumpkin and one apple. Not a problem! I like to do just that then to make the entire meal!

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope you get your fill of turkey and sweets! If you are going shopping, good luck and I hope you get the deal you are looking for!

We are finished shopping for our boys. Although they won't be getting numerous gifts this year, they will be getting higher ticketed gifts. I know they will be THRILLED with what we have purchased. I have even wrapped everything as it as come in! Now I don't have to worry about peekers! Now I need to decorate inside and out.

We are heading to my sister's new home for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Can't wait to see everyone!

We just got off the Wonder on Thurs and booked this cruise while we were on the ship. We are excited to be going to Castaway 2 times. It will be myself Vicki, DH Marty, and 4 kids - DD Adriane 12, DS Zach 7, DD Stephanie 6, DS Isaac 2 (almost 3). We are also from southwestern Wisconsin. We are really looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next year and a half.

Hi everyone! We recently returned from our 4 night Thanksgiving cruise on the Wonder. We had such a great time, and I think we are just about ready to book this one. I've almost gotten dh talked into it for my 40th birthday! My birthday actually isn't until the end of July, but I would rather go earlier for better prices and hurricane avoidance! LOL It will be me, dh, ds Logan (11 at sailing) and ds Braden (just one week before he turns 6 at sailing).

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are getting ready for the Holidays!
It is cold here in PA (and rainy!) and I am thinking of Castaway Cay alot these days! It is my favorite place to be!
Chris and I are going to The World for my 35th Birthday February 7-14 and we are getting excited for that! My parents are coming along, too. I like to spend my birthdays in WDW. It makes me feel good!

Well, off to do some wrapping. Presents just don't wrap themselves.......

We are just about ready for the holidays! All but 2 gifts are bought, all the others are wrapped. The cookies still need baked and the cards still need to be sent. But honestly, I am in good shaped compared to most years! LOL

We are heading to Hilton Head Isle the 27th and spending the week at a condo. I am hoping the weather will be nice so we can spend some time at the beach...I know we won't swim, but walking and looking for seashells and such would be nice!

Then on June 14-21, we will be at The Beach Club! I am SO very excited about this! I have always wanted to stay there and with the 4/3 deal, it was hard to resist! We saved over $1300 on our ressie with the deal!! THANKS DISNEY!

Hi Cunninghams!

We were originally booked into The Beach Club for our February trip. DH and I had always wanted to stay there and especially were SO excited about the pool. BUT, we learned recently that the pool is going to be under construction when we are there and we could use the pool at The Boardwalk. We specifically booked The Beach Club for Stormalong Bay. We were disappointed. We called Disney and changed our ressie to The Wilderness Lodge. At least their pool will be open!
Now we have an excuse to go back to stay at The Beach Club.

It's hard to believe that it's still a year and a half away. We're getting DCL withdrawals after having been on the 15-night repo cruise this past summer. We too booked a 2009 Disney trip -- this summer (June 6-13) at WDW. We decided to upgrade our passes to the 10-night non-expiration passes so that we can use them again in 2010 after our 5-night Wonder cruise! It will also be the first time we've ever used the Disney Dining Plan. I'm looking forward to trying some new restaurants.

Does anyone know when we can book reservations at Comfort Suites for a day-stay at the Atlantis resort?

KSDD. we did the exact same thing! Decided on the 10 day Non-Ex Park Hopper so we would have a few days to tag on the end of the cruise! Great Minds Think Alike!
I don't know when the Comfort Inn will let you book. We have never done that. How much does it usually cost? Is it really worth it? We were thinking of just staying on board and enjoying the quiet empty pools.

Good to see more cruisers joining us!! Is anyone keeping a master list? Maybe for now we can keep it on the front page? And then later we can make it a printable list? Just curious!

Tonight is Cookie Baking Night! I hope the lady I sit for gets home just a bit earlier then usual so I can get started before dinner. Although, I can't complain, she is usually home by 2! Gotta love those hours!

It's nap time for the babies, so I am going to go and have my lunch!

Hope your cookie baking went well. My DW made 30 Christmas candy trays for all of the teachers, office staff, etc. at our kids school this week.

The kids are very excited for Christmas. Our 6 year old came bouncing down the stairs this morning singing only 6 more days to Christmas. Oh, to be a kid again -- no worries!!

I think the comfort inn is around $250 for up to four people. We have 7 in our party, so we can get two rooms. It gives you four full admissions to the Atlantis resort including their waterparks. I think the Disney excursion to Atlantis is $160 pp adults/$110 pp for ages 3-9. For the 7 of us, that would be $1,070! About half of that if we get two rooms at the Comfort Suites!

MaryJPixie - I am so happy that you finally got your power back ---that had to be so hard We just had a ton of snow here too. I think we have a record here in Wisconsin for total amount of snow in Dec. We just got back from a 4 nite cruise a week ago and it was sure hard to come home to this. I miss the warmer weather and Castaway Cay too.
