Matt did end up going. He and I spent 2 hours at AK and it was empty. A coat with a sweetshirt was just fine. The lines were shorts and the animals were out. The most we have ever seen. He and I finished the afternoon at Allstar Cafe where he finished first in the bar game watching the football game.
A fine day was had by all.

Excuse me, SIR, but did you not read what we wrote up there?? Rub it in a little, will ya?

Ohiomickey, you're the ped., right? My girls could keep you in business! I think we've been to the ped's office almost every other week since Thanksgiving dealing with ear infections. Mainly with the 2 year old - gotta love that age - they spread those nasty germs like crazy at day care! Wound up at the ped's office this a.m. with the older one. Thought Emily might have strep throat but it's just a viral infection ... nothing we can do but give her lots of TLC!

We have a nurse in our office who used to live in Atlanta and worked in a pediatrician's office in one of the northern suburbs. Next time I see her, I'll ask which group it was -- might have been where you go!

We just got back from our trip to MCO. Thanks for your words of encouragement. Lisa read them before we left. She placed 4th overall and qualified for States. Thanks Kevin because that now means a trip to Tallahassee and a dive at Vortex Springs!!

So when is Regionals (and diving at Vortex) ?

"Desperate Husband" why Yes I am. We are having dinner last night at Chili's with the rest of the team in Orlando. At 8:25 Sharon announces that we are not having desert and it is time for the check. Why, you ask? To get home by 9 PM for Desperate Housewives.

If our children planned their day around the TV schedule we would be ashamed......but here is Mom doing it. I was a little embrassed. Actually I was just glad to get out of there and any excusss was good for me.

Regional are in March. Between now and than we are off to several more meets and dive trips.

We were eating dinner last night at Chili's too. And we had almost the same conversation, except we went to the sister in laws house to watch the show because going home would have made us late.


I have to admit I like the show too. It really cracks me up!

Not me. I tried to register myself a long time ago and totally messed something up. That's why I tended to post under Jim's name until he was kind enough to set it up for me. I don't know what I did wrong, but it was a MESS!!!

Aww, c'mon Kevin, you should know how young that posessiveness starts... you have a DD!!!!!! They learn "MINE" at an early age, and its all downhill from there.

It is technically her car. I am just "borrowing" it until she turns 16. She reminds me of this constantly when I say something about my car - she will correct me and say "my car". A friend of ours is doing this as well - buy a car many years before the child can have it and then "borrow" it. It is amazing how much better she takes care of "her" car as oppossed to the mini van.

Yep - All went well for Lisa yesterday. She was 4th all around. She placed on 3 of the 4 events (3rd on Floor and Bars and 5th on Vault. They didn't tell us places beyond 5). She was very happy as this was her first meet as a level 8. Good Job Lisa!!!

You didn't mention Matt. Is he along for this ride too? Or does his teendom dictate that he'd rather spend the afternoon on his own?

Matt went too. He doesn't mind spending time with his Dad at all. Also, All Star Cafe is a favorite of his witht he electonic game you can play there. He was doing well on the "nationwide" game when they left the Cafe after Lisa's meet.
