Aww, c'mon Kevin, you should know how young that posessiveness starts... you have a DD!!!!!! They learn "MINE" at an early age, and its all downhill from there.:guilty:
So True! and my DD is one of the worst!!

Oh no, we have to call him SIR now?

I like it. Sir Scuba. It just has a ring about it. Sir Scuba. It works for me. Sir Scuba.

Honey, did you read this? Sir Scuba.

The air mattresses in the garage. Are you planning on keeping them there or will you at least bring them in the house???? :earseek:

Ohiominnie, where you expecting anything better when you came here?

The air mattress sounds pretty good to me.

So what did the magnificent 'Disney menu' end up being in the Scuba House this evening??

We just finished at 10:00 with cooking and eating so this might be a little rough getting it out.

Here was the menu:
Tomato and Mozeralla Salad from Palos
Cobb salad from the Brown Derby
Crab and Artichoke cake form V&A
Beer Batter Halibut from Crown and Rose
Asparagus Pilaf
Baby Pea stuffed sweet onions
Duck Breast with sweet cherry champaign sauce
Twinke taramusui from Pop Centry
Chocolate espresso tort

When I list it out it sure looks pretty incredible and it really was. Add several bottles of wine and Banfi.....A great night was had by all.

There was enough food for all of us on the board.....

Way to go Matt!! :cheer2:

I know Jim told me, but I'm having a brain freeze. What was the project again???

The effect of water temp on tank pressure.

More impressive is another project. Someone built two bridges out of popcycle sticks to see if a trust bridge or suspense held more weight. The trust bridge held 156 lbs before breaking. Thought of you and the girls making a bridge for your science project.

By the way, It shoud be way to go Matt and JIM!!!!

Yes, SIR! Sharon promised me the pool house! ;)

Back from Suessical. AWESOME as expected. I'm glad we get to see it again with our homeschool group on Tuesday. Found out "Eeyore" (aka Ted) had a heart attack and needs triple bypass as soon as Seussical is over!! :earseek: My goodness!! How life changes!

Roads pretty bad coming home. 30 minute trip took about an hour. Now Maggie is raring to go after being in her crate for 4 hours!

Nite all!

You're RIGHT Sir Scuba, the kids do help but most of the credit goes to the Dad's who sacrifice so much for the betterment and the education of the children.:love1:

We do it for "the children"!!:scared1:

Today DD has gymnastics competition at Wide World of Sports. I normally spend the day at the parks, but today is going to be a high temp of 40 degrees and windy.

I guess that would mean WDW is going to be pretty empty today. Might be a good day to grab a few rides in the 3 hours I will have there.....or maybe a good day to sit at AllSports Cafe and watch their big screen TVs.

Either way....I drive

:flower1: Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Sunday! The snow has stopped here but there is still a lot on the ground. Going to be another low key day here.

Those of you in the east stay safe and warm.

Jim, tell Lisa good luck from us! I'm sure she will do great. 40 degrees and windy doesn't sound bad to me :D

Woo Hoo - got a TOP to share with Jim and Lisa!

We got this beautiful light, fluffy snow. Normally it is very wet and heavy. I can push 8" with a broom. The dogs can run right through it. I was worried about Jesse, he has hip problems, getting around, but no problem.:D

Give Lisa a hug and encouragement from us! Hope all goes as desired.

I think the latter arrangement might be more suitable for the conditions. Now if only there was a Rain Forest Room....... :umbrella:

Just for grins I checked out the National Weather Service report for the Boston area:

BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON Today...Snow until late afternoon...Then snow likely late. Visibility one quarter mile or less at Times until late afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 28 to 38 inches. Very windy with temperatures falling to around 10 above by midday. North winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph...Increasing to 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph this afternoon

Jim, sounds like you got the least of it there, but it's all relative! :sunny:

I'm putting on a sweatshirt and heading to AK for a few hours and than back to AllStar Cafe for a few hours to watch and games. That should pretty well take care of it. It might be cold, but it is a perfect blue sky which means AK will warm up nicely.

Since the north east is snowed in I decided someone had to go the parks and make a day of it.

You know, SIR SCUBA, that you are a mean and vicious person......

It is not nice and not fair telling us that you are going to "just drop by" AK......kinda like I am going to "just drop by" the stupid grocery store.

MEAN.....MEAN........

YEAH, what she said!!

I've told Alicia that if she hurries and gets her homework done, we will go see her cousin at their new house. It's a much lesser house than the last one in the mountains, but they moved into town for better schools. So, not much motivation. Being able to say "get your homework done and we'll spend a few hours at AK". Now, there is some serious motivation.

You didn't mention Matt. Is he along for this ride too? Or does his teendom dictate that he'd rather spend the afternoon on his own?

We just got back from our trip to MCO. Thanks for your words of encouragement. Lisa read them before we left. She placed 4th overall and qualified for States. Thanks Kevin because that now means a trip to Tallahassee and a dive at Vortex Springs!!

Matt did end up going. He and I spent 2 hours at AK and it was empty. A coat with a sweetshirt was just fine. The lines were shorts and the animals were out. The most we have ever seen. He and I finished the afternoon at Allstar Cafe where he finished first in the bar game watching the football game.

A fine day was had by all. An Scuba Mom is happy because Lisa did really well. I wonder.......  No, Desperate Housewives is on.
