I thought I told this to you (in a thread somewhere) but I searched and can't find where I told it to you...so I'll tell you again.

I looked into scrapbooking classes for KT. Archiver's won't accept kids under the age of 12!!!! I can set up a group birthday part for a 10 yr old, but they do not have any "junior" classes. Surprising. Figured they'd want to start their hobby young and have them hooked for years.

The other scrapbooking store by us (closer, but much smaller) is going out of business. To me, that means SALE. It's right around the corner from KT's dentist, and, as luck would have it, she has an appointment tomorrow! They are not having any classes though b/c they won't be around much longer....

But...God is good. Today in church I read that they are starting a Scrapbooking class/open scrabooking time!!! They are calling it "Faithbooking." Whatever it's called, they accept kids, will help her get started, will share their tools....YIPPIE! Bad news, the first one is Sunday --and we'll be in Cleveland celebrating a late Christmas. But they will be doing it monthly (at least) so we're very excited to start next month!!!

Karen - forgot to respond in the flury of activity with the photo gallery.

Sorry to hear that Archievers doesn't have kids classes. That's cool that the church does though. I'm sure KT will love it. I need to get started on mine from the cruise, but wanted to get the photo gallery up first. Still kind of laying things out in my mind and I want to have that done before I start working.

Did you catch this? Send a family picture to Mary for the Double Scoop Group photo gallery. We could use the one that was in the 10 day gallery and is now in the DVC member cruise gallery....but it'd be fun to have a more recent one....like from the 10 day cruise.

To avoid doing anything constructive today, I've been browsing the Cruise Critic Ports of Call Message Boards. Costa Maya sounds very nice! The dive shop there will take snorkelers out as well, OR many of the restaurants in Mahahual have their own beaches. From those, you can spend the day swimming, snorkeling, enjoying the beach, getting a massage, drinking beer, eating lobster. Sounds like my kind of place.

I thought I was bad not sleeping past 6:30am, but you sir are the King of the early morning risers!!

It is getting pretty bad, but I am trying to put it to good use. I will be looking at hotel rooms for Key Largo in May during my next early morning session. I find myself just saving computer work for the early morning. DW gets a little annoyed if I am running power tools at 3 am.

There are not to many in Costa Maya, but These guys, Blue Ha sound pretty good. I know these guys offer snorkeling as well.

I already know who to use in Cozumel. Blue XT Divers is great. Christi is awesome and willing to work with the cruise ships.

Great job with the gallery Mary... can't seem to find a photo of DH and I that doesn't look like a reality series "before" photo.

Karen- glad to see that the sun is out in Ohio! We had yet another day of beautiful weather... shorts and t-shirts at SW... soaking wet all day after been coerced into "Shamu's Splash Zone"... darn fish... lets make sushi out of him.

Scuba... 4AM???? I thought MY DH was bad... 5 something... really can't tell what time it is... I wake up only enough to roll over til the last possible second!!! In terms of cruising... I'd go for Seabourn without the kids!

Tinksdad & Scuba... you've got me looking at scuba instruction... maybe I'll do it during the next 72 weeks!

Sorry I missed the 1000th post... I wanted to be here to witness it!!!

24 season premiere tonight... haven't decided whether I can pay attention to the board and the TV at the same time- any other show, yes; 24... maybe not.

Looking forward to being under that 500 day mark this week!

Birthdays (with or without year)
Kids ages (when cruising - not now)
Cabin number
Main or Late dining

Sounds like a wet, but fun day.

Congratulations and the upcoming scuba lessons. You will be welcome on the dives we do in both Cozumel and Costa Maya. In fact, prepare to be "Blown away". The waters are so clear, the sealife so fascinating, that you will be surely hooked. The fact that you get to dive Florida on a regular basis make me Green with envy!!
