Shelly -- There are three kinds of SPectra, one in a white bottle, one in pink, and one in green. I have found them everywhere (Walgreens, Wal-Mark, Target). I ordered some from drugstore dot com online and had it in 3 days. That is where I ordered my safe sea from and went ahead and ordered sunscreen while I was at it. No shipping and no tax!!

My husband also like the Coppertone Sport, but he doesn't burn as bad as my daughter. The pediatrician recommended the Spectra because Ashley's face burns so bad and then she freckles.

If we are staying until 11 pm I wonder if that means we'll get the one dock space. I can't see them running tenders that late at night. hmmmmmm

That would be GREAT!!! Then we could come and go as we please and not be dependent on a tender. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Maria,

We are late seating. We mainly do that because of the 2 times (character and last day) that we get up to have breakfast in the dining rooms. There's no way we could make early breakfast. OMG, it's like 6:30 AM or something.

I'll tell Jake to look for AJ. The Lab groups 10-12s together, so they'll be doing the same stuff. Thanks for getting back to me.

I forgot...AJ's screen name is GoYanks96 and Anthony's is Scooter18.

DOCS ARE HER _ DOCS ARE HER

Just say that the governor has declared a state of emergency for the Florida Fires.....

As someone whose normal summer routine is burn n' peel, burn 'n peel....

I have found this to be my favorite sunscreen:

m_sp_30gel.jpg

It is an alcohol based gel, so it goes on very dry and not greasy at all. I have used it on many cruises without getting burned at all -- although I can go through 2 tubes on a 7 day cruise!

So the point is take alcohol orally AND absorb it through your skin??? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hi,my name is Karen and I'm addicted to the alcohol based sunscreens. :lmao:

So, do those sunscreens block all the bad rays? I forget which ones weren't being blocked before, that let the bad rays in.

As someone who has actually left a set of documents at home (mine), I can tell you that it's no big deal not to have them. The porters at the curb have extra luggage tags, and they have extra paperwork at check-in. It seems that it happens all the time. And this was before online check-in, December 2004.

Where on YOUR docs does it say that we are in Coz until 11pm? Nowhere on mine does it say that? Did you do the online check-in? Just curious.

Maria - if you look in the little booklet there is a page listing all the ports. I believe it says it on there.

Curious...my documents did not have anything that listed ports/times or anything like that. I got the lime green luggage tags, white boarding passes/tickets, Bahamas forms, a little 1-page checklist, and a letter that told me to take all of the forms I printed when checked in on-line. No little booklet. Are there others out there who are also missing the booklet?

Paul

Hi I am sorry but i have never done one of these boards before. What is a DISner? I think I was directed here because me and my Hubby are taking the same Disney Cruise as ya'll!

Paul, the port times were in what you called the white boarding passes/tickets. It was all stapled together what looks like the boarding passes for airlines years ago. Thumb through there & see if you see the page in there.

See - I'm not the only one. Mine don't say anything either. All's I know is that I will be on that ship come Saturday morning. As soon as they open them there doors, we're in and ready for some fun. Get out of my way.

A DISer is someone who posts to these boards (disboards.com).

We're first time cruisers. It's me, DH, and 2 DDs.

HI Soothy and :welcome: to our group. A DISer is someone that posts on these threads. It's called the DISboards hence the DISer.

Allow me to introduce myself: me(Maria), DH that's for Disney/Darling Husband (Augie), DS Disney Son (AJ 10), and DS (Anthony 6). This is our 1st Disney cruise and we are from NY. We're very excited. As is everyone here. Tell us a little more about you. If you click on this link http://monorailgreen.info/May06/photoindex.htm you will find out a lot about us. We're a fun group. Come join us in our last few weeks of hysteria. :cool1:

OK people I gotta get moving around here. Talk to y'all later.

Come on rain....for FL of course, but looks like NY is going to get some, too.

Chow for now....

Me and my Hubby are going on our first DCL trip. Whe have three children that will not be coming. We are taking them next Sep/2007 when our whole family and several friends are going. In 2007 we are renewing our wedding vowls so this is a "trial run" for us! I am so excited I don't think I can wait! We LOVE Disney. We have done Disney Paris twice and DisneyWorld several times and have DisneyLand season passes!
How formal is the formal night? I have to start packing today!

It varies.... Some will wear tuxes, some suits.... some will wear the same thing that they wear to every other dinner.....

I have a tux - so I'll take it - DW, DD and DD will be wearing dresses....

OK, spill the beans! What kind of camera did you get??? :thumbsup2

Well it isn't as "sweet" as "Someone's" new toy...but it is a few steps down...

Nikon D50!
I tried in vain to get the D200's kit lens, however, no one in CT or NY (including B&H has the lens alone). So, we went with the D50 kit lens an 18-55mm.

Kevin, do you have the Nikon 18-200mm VR lens with your camera? I may have to pirate: it from you!!!

(I'm trying to catch up---something I said I wouldn't do, since the to do list is so long I haven't even made one yet!!!) I'm about 20 pages behind now.

See you all soon!!! I'll be the one with the new camera and a big smile????!!!!
