Is the water babies that was mentioned something for the face or just lotion for "everywhere" that works okay on the face?

Welcome. Water Babies is an all over that you can use on the face. Yes. It WILL burn your eyes....BUT.... I have NEVER had it burn my eyes. KT has...but that's when she rubbed her eye with a freshly sunscreened paw. Otherwise, if we put it on (avoiding the eyes) and let it soak in, it's FINE....even underwater or if you sweat. It's never been an issue unless it was DIRECTLY put in the eye by careless application or by eye rubbing.

but I haven't figured out what to wear for semi/formal nights yet. I don't have to go super formal anyway because my girls will be wearing nice dresses but not specifically what I'd call "formal" at their ages- more like dresses that are a little fancier than normal church dresses- kinda like easter dressier type?

I kid you not....THIS is my formal dress:

Jake (DS11) was overwhelmed by the teens and in betweens meet , so I had him post to the tag-long . A much easier transition into DISing. So, I'm here to seek 10-12 boys to post some on the Tag-long Double Scoop meet. I think he's emailed to a couple of cruisers, maybe Caleb and Michael?

Sadly, Caleb was grounded from electronics again yesterday for the week. Can't lie to mom and get away with it...

See I told those of you that were on the 10 day you'd be seeing me in the same outfits. What can I say I'm not a fashion person. I wear what is comfortable. I'm business casual 4 days a week at work and totally casual (meaning jeans) on the 5th day. Why these clothes work for me cruise wise is they are easy to pack and don't take a lot of room.

I'm SO glad you're my table mates and not someone who is going to dress to the 9's every night!!!

P.S. DCL also told me that if your T/A does not send you the docs, you can still board ifyou have filled out the on-line forms...There are extras at the Port....

But it would be nice to have docs, wouldn't it?????

I'd be more concerned about the luggage tags than anything.

The navigator is done!


Ok well by done I mean designed and ready to print. For those of you who like to plan ahead a full color copy as a word document is up on the web site. Please note this file is over 3 megs. It is designed to be printed on 11 x 17 paper.

One copy will be in each DISers packet, but if you want an extra copy or want one early here it is.

Please note that if I have any typos at this point I'm really sorry but it is done.

IT'S RAINING!!!

Not a lot... but its a start... thanks for the P&PD... the fires closest to us are 'getting' contained, it will take a lot more rain than this to help, but, we'll take every drop we can get.

Speaking of all the park fireworks, the storage facility for Universal's fireworks caught fire last night... like Central FL needs one more fire right now!!!!

The one by Sea World is out, after burning 30 acres- right near the Residence Inn, Rennaisance, and Marriott Vacation Club...

And in other good news (well... at least for me...) I was wrong about 24... its season finale isn't til the FOLLOWING week... (and NO, I don't have TIVO or a DVR...)​

BBB, DH loves the Coppertone Sport Spectra that someone else recommended. He uses this all over, including his face, when running. So, there is sweat involved. He likes it because it doesn't run in to his eyes. He's tried many brands over the years. I bought him some last year & that's all he uses now.

A wildfire that threatened hundreds of homes in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, dissipated overnight and by Monday afternoon was "basically contained," said Mike Brouilette, spokesman for the city's police department.


The blaze destroyed three homes, closed part of Interstate 95 and forced the evacuation of at least 800 residents of an upscale subdivision as it grew to 1,000 acres Sunday, according to Shannon Lewis, a spokeswoman for the city in northeastern Florida.

That is correct and we are getting some rain today...although we are still about 7" below where we should be for this time of year so still dry but every bit helps and thanks to every one for the Prayers and PD

Does anyone know if either the Radisson or the Hyatt have laundry facilities? If I can throw a load of laundry in Fri. evening at the Rad, then I won't have to pack as much. And we'll be hanging at the Hyatt all day after the cruise waiting for our flight. If they have a laundry, I could take home all clean clothes!

Hi Sandi. Someone may have already answered this but....

They do have laundry facilities at the Rad. I THINK the washer was about $2 a load. THere were a couple of washers and 2 or 3 dryers. Last year they also had vending for detergent/softner.

It is located just beding the pool area...like where the admin offices and meeting rooms are.
