I was going to ask you that question. I have a long sleeve 3 mm shortie and a 3 mm farmer jane -- and a beanie - Sam has a full hood. I would rather only wear the shortie as I can get down easier but....I guess I should pack both - what to do - what to do?????

I am soooo glad that you included Kevin's quote in your response there cause I did NOT understand what the hay you were talking about. I'm not going to tell you what was going through my mind when I read about "the hood". And wearing the shortie as I can get down easier. I had to make sure I was on the DISboards and not something else. :lmao:

LOL :lmao: It's all perspective, isn't??

Looks great- thanks Mary & Mark!
Kinda like termites, huh? :confused3 ... no, really... welcome to our crazy bunch... remember... there will be a test on the past 2707 pages on 5/27/06 at 3PM... be prepared!
Sounds like Christopher at our house... though we think we've found a way to incentivize him to do his nightly reading during these last few weeks of school when he just doesn't want to do it... he can't get on the board until his reading is done...
Yes- it's a 2-parter... first part Sunday, second part Monday
I told Elizabeth that she wasn't allowed to start packing until EVERY piece of dirty laundry was out from under the bed, in the closet, under the bathroom sink (don't ask), out from in between the dresser and the wall, etc., etc... I came home last night to find about 6 loads of dirty laundry stacked in the laundry room... guess what SHE's doing after school... and, interestingly enough, it looks like our towel shortage in the house will be corrected when she's done!!!!

That's the way FL is with full liquor licenses, but not beer & wine licenses... however, if you're looking for hard liquor at Wal-Mart near the port, you won't find it... FL Wal-Mart's sell beer and wine only- they don't have a 'full' license. (Cause, like OM said... somebody has to die or get thrown in jail forever in order for a full license to be available... either that, or there has to be a huge population explosion within the county, warranting another available license... and I mean HUGE... like 10's of thousands more people in a year's time... won't happen.)

Wouldn't consumption of Alcohol prompt a HUGE population explosion:rotfl2:

Sorry, I probably confused ppl. I don't think my Wal*mart is going for the full liquor license. Probably only the beer/wine one. So do they have to wait for someone to die to get that TOO??? I'm starting to think they just don't want to deal with it and have drunks coming in at 2:00 am to get beer. :confused3

Sorry, Debb, your post needed a little editing. There. Now I feel better. :)

Stacey, maybe when some idiot comes into the shop and Jay's not there you should tell them they need to schlep back the next day and talk to the guy who will actually MAKE their item!
Thanks Stacey I am glad you feel better. And the editing does appear to have helped. :rotfl2:

Can't tell if he's smiling or not. :confused3

Good morning everyone.

And again, I can't stay and play today. I am going to get my haircut by my nieces boyfriend. She does hair too, but she's a "color" person. She will highlight my hair before the cruise. Can't wait for that cause I need it bad. The haircut, the haircut people. So, that doesn't leave me any time to hang around the house today. Plus, I have to go and pick up Augie's truck at the shop. He had his brakes fixed. And then my little guy has his first baseball game tonight. How cute is that?

I'll try to catch up with y'all later tonight. Yeah!!!! It's Friday.....so have a great day and I'll see (type) you soon.

Did they come UPS or USPS?

They come UPS....

I am really surprised that it was the old version. The new version we had on the 4 day Wonder made a lot more sense. They must have a bunch left over.

Thanks for mentioning that. I'd hate to have waited to get something and then been without. How horrible that would be :teeth: How 'bout that Publix near the port?

We might end up taking the scenic route to the port. DH's aunt lives in Lady Lake (I think an hour north of WDW). DH wants to see where they live. We either would drive up as soon as we arrive (making a really long day). Or, we drive up after visiting KSC on the 3rd. Or, we take time away from WDW and go from there. They're perfectly happy coming to us sometime during our trip so we can visit. Besides, she says Lady Lake looks like west Texas, not Florida.
Have a great day everyone!

The Navigator info looks great. Thanks!

I don't care what version I get, as long as they arrive ontime! (And early enough that we don't have to buy that first round of drinks would be nice too!)

(are we related???) :lmao: :rotfl2:

I like driving too. It's just seems like less hassle to me. Try Budget rentals, they have a rental location very close to the port and a shuttle. I always drop the girls off at the port and then return the car. Less luggage handling that way.

Jump in and join the group!!
Hi Tinksdad,

We don't arrived in Orlando until about 10:45 on Friday night (5/26) do you think it is worth getting a rental car to drive to the port? What do we do about getting back to the airport when we disembark? We currently have transfers now but I want to get to port early. We are also staying at the Airport Marriott and they have a free shuttle to and from the airport. Please let me know. Thanks.

A friend of mine has repeatedly said that if she ever had a child she'd name it Ari, standing for "Accident Resulting from Intoxication." :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
