No...mine's the Pro 1. They're different. That site does have a pvc bag for the Pro 1, though. But I don't know that I really want to take that camera underwater. I love that camera, and I have nightmares after what happened to Mark.
ooops, couldn't remember and Canon doesn't make a housing for that camera. But, Ikelite does!!

You know, a leak is always possible. However, with diligence it's really not a huge problem. I've got extra insurance on my camera just in case tho......

Hey Kevin - with all the chatting I do not recall seeing a response to the post on wetsuits???

3 mm long sleeve shortie

and/ ?? 3 mm farmer jane???

???? bring both?????

Is there a Sam's or Costco near MCO or the Port? Does the Super Wal Mart by the port have much of an alcohol selection?

Sleep tight everyone!
Sherry

Can you believe that our Wal*mart STILL doesn't have alcohol? They've been open for almost 1 1/2 years and their beer isle is filled with random stuff (paper towels, canned food, toys) I asked about 4 months ago and they said "we don't have our liquor license yet......there are a set number in the county and we have to wait until someone relinquishes theirs." :confused3 :confused3 Weird. Tell ya, I'm getting sick of not being able to get meat, produce OR adult beverages at Wal*mart!!

How about a visit to your local dermotaoligist and take away those free pamplets on skin

Still won't help. After all, the teenage mentality is "it won't happen to me."

Man, if I knew THEN what I know NOW!!!!!

Must disagree - jeans - yup - sweapants - yup - For our November cruise I was at Ron Jon's buying sweatshirts.....

Since I always freeze in airconditioning, especially the airport, I almost have one pair of long pants and long sleeves with me.

Spooky! I was just thinking the same thing......

What did you wear your last dives off Florida?

I just checked Christi's site in Cozumel, it says 80° water temps. That's not bad, but you know that with repeative dives you can get colder. I would take the farmer jane. I'm going taking a 5mm for Alicia and thinking of the same thing for me (but will more than likely go with the 3/2mm jumpsuit)!!

We will be making a couple of dive in Jupiter Thursday before the cruise and they report 74° water temps.

We wore the full suit with F/J.

But in late November in St. Thomas I only wore the shortie....wonder what the temp was....bet I did not record same....

I will bring both - hope I can get by with the shortie.....I hate the F/J.

Wore only a shortie in Living Seas and was not cold at all - too excited I guess......

I think Sam has a full 3mm and a combo shortie, like me,,,,

Bring both, that way if you do get a bit chilled don the f/j and will be better. Do you guys have beanies? All of the stylish divers wear them.... It's amazing what that little bit of covering on your head can accomplish!!

I have a beanie - Sam has a full hood. I do NOT like my beanie - It was purchased to protect my ears in snorkeling after the fiasco of burned ears (and cartiliedge) last November -- but, I must wear the beanie (or Fran will yell at me in the "voice" of hers)....

Must go to work to earn money fro cruising....

Later... :wave2:

shivverrr!!!

I know the one!!!! :lmao:

What's wrong with the beanie? Not a good fit?

Speaking of diving, it's almost time.........

If all goes according to plan, the Oriskany will sink to the bottom
of the Gulf of Mexico on May 17, 2006 and scuba divers could be
allowed on the decommissioned aircraft carrier as soon as two days
later, local and Navy officials said Wednesday.

Now the real trick is going to be finding a computer to post on. I know earlier Mike walked from room to room looking for an empty computer and there were none. 4 ppl, 3 computers....you do the math. :)
Sounds like Christopher at our house... though we think we've found a way to incentivize him to do his nightly reading during these last few weeks of school when he just doesn't want to do it... he can't get on the board until his reading is done...

One strange thing, it lists the Grey's Anatomy finale as being on a Monday night?
Yes- it's a 2-parter... first part Sunday, second part Monday

I only let him on while I stopped to do some laundry.;) I was completly caught up on Monday, but I had another mountain tonight. Figured I better get it done since we have a swim meet this weekend.
I told Elizabeth that she wasn't allowed to start packing until EVERY piece of dirty laundry was out from under the bed, in the closet, under the bathroom sink (don't ask), out from in between the dresser and the wall, etc., etc... I came home last night to find about 6 loads of dirty laundry stacked in the laundry room... guess what SHE's doing after school... and, interestingly enough, it looks like our towel shortage in the house will be corrected when she's done!!!!

That's the way FL is with full liquor licenses, but not beer & wine licenses... however, if you're looking for hard liquor at Wal-Mart near the port, you won't find it... FL Wal-Mart's sell beer and wine only- they don't have a 'full' license. (Cause, like OM said... somebody has to die or get thrown in jail forever in order for a full license to be available... either that, or there has to be a huge population explosion within the county, warranting another available license... and I mean HUGE... like 10's of thousands more people in a year's time... won't happen.)
