I had the nicest morning today that I have had in a looooong time. My friend just welcomed her first grandbaby. It's funny, she's always teased us about her being the youngest in our group, but she was the first to become a grandma! Anyway, I was over there holding that beautiful, tiny little thing....what a joy!

I had a baby experience today too. I went over my neighbors house (bearing extreme chocolate cookies with Reese's pieces) and held her 3 week old. He fell asleep on my chest all warm and snuggly. Then my ovary spasmed and I handed him back and went home!!!

The only spasm I felt was in my stomach, when I realized that I'm probably going to be the next Grandma!

My sole experience with wireless on board (on the Wonder) was horrible... never could get it to connect - and when it did - it was horribly slow..... They were having issues - but still.....

Wow. Quiet day today. Not much going on here. Cloudy and chilly. We were going to work outside today but it's just too cool. And it wasn't anything that HAD to be done. So we've holed up inside. Going to watch the Pink Panther here in a bit.

Off to throw in another load of laundry.

Wow, it really is quiet here today. I thought I would have a lot to catch up on. We are all ready and getting ready to leave for the Church. Ashley looks so pretty. I will need to take a picture and then post it later for you all to see.

Didja all follow the thread on the main board awhile back about the guy who was TICKED OFF that they didn't have room for his 1 yr old son b/c the kid count was at capacity. Man, he was hot! And I don't mean good lookin'!

BUT.... at only one you can leave a kid at home and they will never know the diff.

Not like alone alone.... with grandparents or even a hired nanny!


AND A UTOP!!! Of course all mine are 'U' ... That short attention span again...

Thanks! I'm "burst" posting here: The other DCL cruise we were on was a FULL ship and it didn't feel full at all - so no worries there!

I was rooting for you to get an upgrade. I had checked into it awhile back myself and the difference in cost will be a whole other cruise for us!!! YIKES!! Don't worry about your stateroom though. First, unless you're sick or having a miserable time (not gonna happen!) you won't be in your room much anyway! And they're really quite nice actually. So no worries, OK?

I KNOW!!!! The up-grade was actually more than the original cost of the cruise!!!

We have some friends who laugh at us everytime we pay extra for a veranda or a high cat. They always get the lowest cheapest cabin they can all fit in and spend the extra on on excursions and frozed yummies!!

And honestly... I just want a place to dry my swim suit.

I have heard from friends that they like cabins with no verandas because they can sleep until they are good and ready to wake up with out that pesky tropical sun getting in their eyes!

I hope that DH does not fall in love with this room arrangement... DCL will never get him into anything higher again if he likes this layout...

NO PROBLEMO!!! I send DH out to sleep on the deck the night before.

This was actually the longest, funniest, whineyest (sp?) thread a few years ago... People plotting and planning and writing to DCL to get them to solve this problem... So how goes this earth shaking delimma now?? Do we get assigned #s for our deck chairs too???
