Here is another question from the 'I need to go on more DCL to keep up files"

What about this signing up for everything on-line? We tried to get our Palo ressies and were told they were booked???? Then we were told they still have space but only take a certain # of ressies on-line... Do we do the mad ressie rush now or can I get a # for that too? Or do I have to 'take somebody out' to get my spot?

I think you're ok (I HOPE so b/c we have to do the same thing---switching Palo nights) Supposedly they do hold some out for those who didn't, or couldn't, do it online.

Take advantage of all online booking things though (kids club, online check in, etc) In January I walked up to the kids club area in the terminal, got a pager, got wristbands, and was done. The *other* parents who had not done the online check in had to fill out the paperwork and THEN wait in another line where they heard all about the policies of the club yada yada. I figure I'll do it online and have more time to socialize.

btw, you DO need your children present to get wristbands. Nick was in the bathroom and they wouldn't let me have it to put it on him; THEY had to do it.

Speaking of rooting, I couldn't believe the stuff the judges said to Katherine on AI the other night. I thought she sounded good! I hear that Simon actually apologized to her the next night.

Rooting for Terry, but he's going to have to take full advantage of every immunity challenge to get there. Unless the tribe is self destructing, which it seems like it is.

Yes. Both Mike and I thought Katherine sounded GREAT.....and then the judges slammed her. We were flabergasted. We thought she did well. What was lousy about Simon apologizing the NEXT night is that it was AFTER voting. I'm glad she didn't get voted off b/c of it. At least AMERICA can tell good singing. Btw, I'm pleased with the results of last night's show. That person was driving me to the edge (not saying who in case Sandi hasn't watched it yet)

Well, I didn't kill him. I did have to laugh....after he left, our youngest employee came up to me and said "That's it? He's leaving?" I must have had a funny look on my face, because I thought an entire day with the jerk was plenty. Then he says "We were hoping a fight would break out. I had $5 on YOU!"

Yikes! Getting ready to order next years homeschool materials and they price all their shipping individually depending on what kinda of kits you're getting (the full kit, the upgrade kit, etc)

It's saying it'll be over $80 to ship it. That's ridiculous. I may just have to have a few words with someone when I order. Grrrrr.

That is probably good advice... I actually live in Las Vegas, and the only water around here is "Lake Mead" so, I am not sure it would equate to the experience of the open ocean...
