I just gotta say....here it is 3 minutes later and I'm still shaking my head at this one.

I mean, I've been on a lot of dates in my life, and had my head smashed in the trunk by most of those men.
First guy who came along and DIDN'T smash my head in the trunk....now THAT was the one I married.
Wonder if that had something to do with the fact that he didn't have a car. Hmmmm....

LOL... no... BUT... I did drop $80 on my first horse racing bet in my life, on that lame nag, based on the name alone... betting and losing, somehow confirms my previous aversion to "donating" money to the casinos... LOL...

The story goes something like this... we had been dating for 2 weeks...

He decides to take me home to meet his parents... oh wait... he doesn't have a car, so I have to take HIM home... (well, he DOES have one, but he shares it with his high-school aged brother... who lives at home... 90 miles away... and its hockey season, so the goalie-brother gets the car for the winter).

We pull into his driveway... open the hatchback of my 1985 Dodge Charger (piece of crap... the year of Chrysler's bankruptcy)... the hatch won't stay open unless you prop a 4 x4 board in it (which I carry all the time, at that point)... he gets his dirty laundry out of the back, and moves the 4x4... while I am still getting MY stuff out of the back... Newton's law of gravity kicks in...

Meanwhile, his parents are standing in the house, watching the whole thing from the window...
