It's called ice damming, happens anytime you have heavy amounts of snow on the roof. An easy fix for next time is get get a device called a roof rake, kind of like a squeegee on a long pole and either yourself or get someone to rake down the few inches of snow on the roof from the gutters up. As long as you have a clear dry patch it'll stop icing up the gutter.

Thanks, Mark. So it doesn't matter if the gutters are covered, would happen anyway. Can you tell we don't get a lot of snow!

The ONLY time I DON'T recommend "going with the flow" on a Disney cruise is when you flush the toilet.....DO NOT go with that flow!!!

The 'puter is so slow, I am not going to search to find the response - but someone said they had booked a ruin tour way back but had not heard. Was it Sandi? Mike? ?????

Anyway, I booked this weekend at chacchoben ruins tours and they sent a response the next day.

So, if you still have not heard, perhaps a follow-up is timely.

All the talk about tendering is not fun. Strangely, when I booked this cruise, I was all set to do two excursions of ruins, well that was before the Kevin and Jim attack of dive itch, so now I can't wait to dive Cozumel. But if we go elsewhere, I'd hope for Grand Cayman. For us, the Keys would be a sore disappointment....for others, it would be great, just depends.

Makes you think, if it is taking this long to rebuild the ports, which are money producers, I wonder how the rest of the County is fairing? Are the homes rebuilt, re-roofed, etc.

Well, not quite yet.....

You'll get the cruise contract with your documents (will show up about a month before the cruise)....

You have to sign it and turn it in when you check in at the terminal.

Well, the FUNNIEST thing about that story is that MIKE and I did NOT call each other "Cupcake" until AFTER that cruise.

HUH? NO seat? I was assured by some ppl on late dining that they'd pull a seat up for KT.

So, does that mean I need to tip our servers 4 PLUS 1 time? 4 for main dining and 1 for late?

I had booked and heard back from them, but they had the wrong date listed in the e-mail. I just got a confirmation e-mail from Ivan today with the correct date and his apologies. Are you doing the Mayan Experience or just the ruins tour? With BBB joining the Mayan Experience, we have our required 7-plus people.
