Cruise Related!!

This is what I know about the dinner time for LATE Seating....

I wasn't told what time we would be seated, and I forgot to ask, because the staggered times are new, and I honestly didn't think about it. BUT....from what I have been able to find out (and no, I am not going to bother the person at DCL to ask for sure...) it looks like the people who eat in Animator's on the first night are seated at 8:00 every night.
I think this is great.....last year, we all sat and yakked so much, that by the time we left the restaurant, we had to RUN to get to the shows. This will give us a little more leeway.

Again.....I *think* our Seating Time will be 8:00.

Good Morning everyone. Happy Belated Birthday Mike Sorry I missed it.

I am very excited. Made the final cruise payment yesterday. Still no packet for me from Disney. I am sure that even though it was requested again, that we will not be receiving one.

Oh well -- I think we are down to just making the on-line resverations on February 26. I have already taken care of the airline tickets, the car rental, the hotels, the cruise insurance. We even have our time reserved for the shuttle to the port from the Radisson. We have the dining plan added for our stay at WDW afterwards and dinner reservations made for every night.
With all that done, what am I going to do for the next 3 months to entertain myself I guess I will just have to spend more time DISing

BUT....from what I have been able to find out (and no, I am not going to bother the person at DCL to ask for sure...) it looks like the people who eat in Animator's on the first night are seated at 8:00 every night.

Wouldn't that mean that the early ppl are at 5:30? I think Animator's, first night, starts at 5:30.

works for me (except maybe Cozumel night when I remember Mike and KT did not return back until 5:55!! I was hanging over the verandah, fully dressed for dinner, watching for them to board.)

I did have a GREAT day. Cappy's pizza... a new Survivor series... a couch... a pillow... a blanket... and surrounded by family. Need i say more?

The only downside of 5:30 is not being able to stay up too long and watch sailway. I guess we'll do what we did on the Member cruise and change before the drill so we can go right from sailaway to dinner.

As for Cozumel. I would hope they would get us back in time for dinner. If not I guess we'll try Topsiders for the first time!

Mike - nice to see you posting here again! Sounds like a great night. I missed Survivor. I was watching Dancing with the Stars. I know there are 4 tribes right now and that is about it. I'll have to catch up.

These last couple of times we've done sailaway from our own verandah. MUCH nicer. Not windy, no pushing and shoving, no kids getting stepped on....and you can change in phases (QUICK, Honey, get your pants on, here comes Jetty Park!!!)

Of course, this cruise we're going to be on the "wrong" side of the ship....

here's the important part of what you missed.....the older women are stupid. they voted off their strongest tribe member who knew the most about outdoor living. and instead kept their self proclaimed "couch-potato" who is afraid of leaves and things that live in the wild!

Of course you may! We aren't planning Palo dinner this trip but if Cozumel is pirate night I don't think I would want to be at Palo that night. That's what happened on the Member Cruise and we missed the pirate party. Of course they did hold off theh fireworks for us so we got to see them the next night. You do know that is why they were delayed a night right.

Was the one they voted off the one who lost a son earlier in the year and was writing in the sand? I did see that part on the flip during commercials on ABC.

I'm not sure we're doing Palo dinner this time. I'm not thrilled with dinner. Too much of ONE thing. I MUCH prefer the brunch. But I could do Palo dinner just for the souffle. Bring me that for my appetizer, entree, and dessert!!

Yes. SHe was supposed to be on the LAST survivor, but lost her son just before they were going to start filming (her only son...16 yrs old)

I think that did hurt her, she should have told ppl about it. Instead she went off alone and acted weird and ppl didn't like that she was a "loner." I think she'd have gotten more empathy if she'd have just come out with it to pre-empt the talking.

Ok, back to work. Play time is over. I did my exercises. Ate my lunch. Kids have had play time (although they'll complain that it wasn't LOOONNNNGGG enough)....
