I'm jealous! We're at half that!! OH - but we did make it clear up to 41 today! :woohoo:

I've been wondering about Sue and Maria too. I just heard on the news that Central Park recorded 26.9" snow :scared1:

HOLY COW! I can't even picture that much snow in my head.

It's okay, I can laugh about our warm weather now....come the weekend, I'll be in Nebraska and be freezing. Their predicted HIGH for Friday is only 22°. Good thing I still have a winter coat, hat, gloves......:cold: :cold:

We're getting pretty close to another milestone.....who claimed it??

I went to the ARCA race this morning. It was a perfect day for a race. The sun was out so it was rather warm, sitting there with 3 layers on. Coffee and brandy in the morning at a race was great.

We did not make it out to JBs with Sam and Irene. Sharon was still not feeling well. We did get a phone message that they were there and enjoying themselves. I'm sure they will post an update once they get home and get caught up.

Guess Jared and I will go get some dinner. Jay has a nasty cold and Jordan is dieting.....diet? What's that??

Too bad we don't have a Cappy's ....I hear so much about it, would love to try it. Or a JB's.

HAY I was just on the phone with SUE then had a rescue call

they got about 8 inchs lost power for a short time. ALL IS GOOD NOW

she was very happy cruisers were consered and caring.

Is 74° warm enough??? :stir:

We are FREEZING here... it was only in the hi 40's/low 50's today... unlike Jim, I missed the ARCA race this morning, but went to the Budweiser Shootout this afternoon... never thought I'd see the day that I sat in the Florida sun and watched a race while wearing 3 layers AND a fleece blanket... it was a bit more than CHILLY when the sun went down!

My brother's flight never left here this morning, so he's still here... he can't get a flight back to Hartford until TUESDAY... and he's got 26 inches of snow in his driveway. (His wife isn't too pleased...:lmao: )

HAY its a nice night OUT BIG MOON stars light clouds

had a nice morning too full moon

OK ..I'm a happy girl!!! We got about 14" of snow. The kids had a great day outside. Went out in the morning, came in for some lunch, dried out their clothes and out they went again. Now, we're just sitting in front of the fire watching the Olympics. It just don't get better..Hmmm Unless we were sitting on the Magic enjoying a cool drink. Anybody with me? Just 15 more weeks. Can't wait.

Glad to hear you had a great day, Maria!! When I started hearing the weather reports I figured you'd be happy/Sue would not! Will schools be closed tomorrow? (I bet the kids would REALLY like that!)

And yes, we're so there with you -- on the Magic, that is!!

It was sooo pretty out today. Everything has a white blanket on it. The kids had a blast. One of our neighbor's front yard is a hill and they all went sledding. I love our neighborhood. Anyway, we already got a phone call from school that we have a 2-hour delay tomorrow morning. And yes, the kids are sort of happy. They were wishing for another day off - I was not.

That measurement for NYC is very accurate. A LOT of snow fell in this area. Just what I asked for. It's all good according to me.

OHMinnie, I would think that being out in the country you'd be less suseptible (sp?) to someone stealing your mail. I usually try not to leave anything in ours. Luckily there was only junk on Sat. ... that is, other than Scoopie! That reminds me ... need to stop the mail for the weekend.

Well, with no street lights and not as many people around/less traffic/etc, I don't take the chance. I hate stopping my mail for one or two days for the weekend b/c our post office REQUIRES you to go pick it up rather than have the accumulated mail delivered....so, if I can get a neighbor to pick it up I do...otherwise I stop the mail. Yuck.

My guess is that if they still didn't want to do Cozumel by our cruise time is that they would send us to Grand Cayman. Just a thought and something I'd rather do. :)

I love Grand Caymen, it is my favorite western island and Cozumel is my worst so I will be hoping and hoping and hoping! :thumbsup2

Really?

I think Key West is OK, but there are much better stops available.

My vote is for Grand Caymen, not that anyone is asking me, we will just go where the boat floats!!

Belize would actually be closer to go to than Grand Cayman, but it isn't very likely. DCL has never gone there, and it would be a whole lotta paper work to get them there. Although, that would be a great choice, especially for water excursions...and diving.
My guess would be Grand Cayman, since it is already on one of Disney's itineraries. I wouldn't mind seeing Key West, I didn't get to see much of it the last time. Pretty mixed reviews, though....Jay said I wasn't missing much.

Roatan is too far south, I think......

I couldn't see any reason why DCL wasn't going back to Cozumel yet.....but if it is the issue of the tenders, then that makes sense.

Either way, makes no difference to me. I'll just be glad to be back on the Magic again, and I don't care WHERE we go. That, and the fact that WE will all finally be together!!

Like you we don't really care, we always say we could do a 'cruise to nowhere' 7 days at sea sounds great to me!!!

Here's what our snow looked like ...

P2120004.jpg

We had far less than that, not even enought to make a tiny tini snowball.

That's exactly what Tori thought!!! She saw the picture and asked "are they twins?"! They're so adorable, Angie!!

I thought the same thing although I knew they weren't, they do look very much alike.

So where is everyone, it looks like I am having my own posting party here, watching the olympics and should be going to bed as it's back to work tomorrow.
