Finally booked the cruise after thinking about it since our September cruise on the Magic, were so busy arranging our reunion cruise to Alaska and then had a guilt trip so decided to take the kids on the double dip in May.

The temps will be dropping here in GA. Rain is predicted for this afternoon. That will be no fun when mixed with mid-30 degree temps. Sleet is predicted for northeast GA. I hope the weathermen are right & none dips down to us!

Got all of my Christmas cards out in the mail yesterday.

Are you driving down, we are planning on driving down on the Friday after school finishes and hoping to miss the Atlanta traffic.

Gentlemen and Techno-people: Is this what I would need for my Treo, in order to check my e-mail from the ship, if it says they have wireless for your P.C.?
I noticed a couple of people on Princess, sitting in the lobby, online. I'd read that there was a "hot spot" there. That's what I want to be able to do with the Treo. Thanks.

Welcome aboard Julia! This is our first cruise ever. I'm VERY excited.

We are in Alpharetta (actually unincorporated NW Fulton). We are planning on driving down as well. Our oldest is in Kindergarten so we aren't planning on leaving until that day either. We may have to wait until after a gymnastics review that afternoon though. If that's the case, we'll probably only drive down 1/2 way that night and rest of the way the morning of the cruise.

There are a few of us from GA cruising. There's dzneprincess (Amanda) from Columbus, Jilliebean (Jill) from Duluth, ladypoo (Patty) from Valdosta, and RachelTori (Laura) from Grayson.

Check out WDWLVR's (Mary) siggie on page 1395. She's got a link to a webpage for our cruise. You can send her your info to be included. She and her husband are at Disneyland right now so it may be a few days before she responds.

Happy Saturday! One week closer!!! And only 2 weeks til my kids find out!!! Our annual eat-drink-and-be-merry-fest is tonight, so I've got to get off the computer and finish cleaning and cooking... should be about 50 here tonight... gotta go, gotta go!!

Oh... and the tag... that came from a comment made on the CB about inflatable Christmas decorations... when I get bored at work, I tend to wander into the meaningless threads on the CB... but that only happens once in awhile.

Going over to our local dive spot, Blue Hole to certify some more OW students this weekend.

The water is 62° and will probably look like that with the air temp lower...... Warm water, here I come!!


I can't imagine Matt getting along with scraps. I think slabs, or chunks would be more appropriate!!

Well, opening night was last night. It went REMAKABLY well!! There were laughs, tears, and general happiness. Saw some signs of nervousness on stage, but all went without any major hitches. Apparently there were some botched lines and missed lines, but those were reports from cast members who knew the script inside and out. Believe me, no one in the audience picked up on it!

Yep - that will work just fine. You'll be able to use the Treo and surf to your heart's content.
