I was baaaaad today. I went to Chico's.

I'm jealous!!!I love Chico's!!!! I have absolutely no willpower when it comes to that store - thankfully, I can't stand shopping in the mall around Christmas so, I don't have to give into the temptation...

Banfi Rosa Regale Brachetto d'AcquiAnd as long as you're shopping, get some dark chocolate to eat while drinking it.

Thanks, Diana! Sounds good to me!!! :goodvibes

I'm learning to appreciate Chicos. Except for the Chicos pants I bought on Ebay, that were sewn with the seams on the outside. That'll teach me! The Chicos here isn't in a mall. But it scares me, there's always a line for the dressing room. I haven't actually bought anything there.

Don't think I have any more fun. Left the office at 6 am. Drove 3 1/2 hours in the rain. Had the meeting. Turned around and drove 3 1/2 hours in the rain.

The best part is that it is over and I don't have to make that drive again until next Thursday when I go and meet Kevin for diving! :cool1:
No rain this time!!! :earseek:

:cool1: 24 is done and back to the library with 15 minutes to spare before closing... :cool1:
My netflix cue is showing "short wait" for season 4 disc 1 - if you've got it-return it! It's my turn!!! :teeth:

That's the bad part...our Chico's isn't in a mall, either. It is in a small plaza...right on the way to Target and the grocery store. Which is where I was supposed to be headed!
Yeah, Diana...there are only 5 dressing rooms, but up here, there's never more than one other person in the store. Until today. I guess everyone was buying holiday party clothing. I waited about 10 minutes for a dressing room. The other bad thing...no mirrors in the dressing rooms. You have to come out to use the mirror. :confused3

I turned on the computer and saw the headline "Airplane Slides Off Runway in Chicago" and my heart almost stopped! I feel sorry for all involved, but thank heavens it wasn't Mark and Mary!
I hope they are able to say "We made it out just in the nick of time".

it's not me. we bought ours at best buy. figured we had saved such $$$ on seasons 1, 2, and 3, that we could splurge and buy season 4 at full price. :)

We're here, all is fine, only 2 hours late, but all in all not too bad. We're beat, will post more in the am.

Well as Mark said we have made it! Got to the airport early to beat the weather. Started snowing on our way. Had a nice dinner at Chiles in the airport and then settled in to wait for our flight. Our 5:11 flight finally boarded about 6 but then we had to be de-iced. Really left about 7pm. Flight was totally booked and since we were in the front we were in the last group to board so no room in the overheads. We just kept our bags under our seats which made leg room a little short but not too bad.

I love flying into John Wayne - what a beautiful airport! Got our rental car and I think it only took about 20 minutes. Got a nice room in the Sierra Tower with a view of the pool.

Off to bed - it is 1 am Chicago time!

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Friday!

Since it is 1 am Chicago time I'm going to say Good Morning now!

Off to bed!

Great - the weather reports did not look hopeful. Good Night and Good Morning....

Finally, I am becoming organized.

The "taller than the ciling treee" has now been brought inside from the rain and is waiting to be decorated. The cats have decided the padding and sheets under the tree, which server to buffer the glass and crystal ornaments from breakage, are put there just for them...

The overseas presents are wrapped and Sam will take them to the Post Office this afternoon. Only one more gift to purchase for the out of towners and they can be wrapped and mailed.

Bathroom and Kitchen boxes unpacked and (mostly) put up. We have had so many cute, adorable and classic gifts given us over the years, the house turns into a department store, it seems. I have no clue what to give up and weed out.

Washing rugs this morning, will check in later. Very glad Mark and Mary (and Bear) made it....good job holding back all that snow Stace!

Chicos is the only store I shop at for Sharon (yes, I will shop for Sharon). I can go in there, ask for a size and knew it fits. It's a fast in and out. We both don't like to shop so once we found a store that is good and quick....we shop there. :)

I have never seen parkas at our Chicos. OM, what does flannel looks like at Chicos? :rotfl2:

An early morning top for me with OM, Chico, and flannel (Ohio's answer to the tropical shirt)!!

Good Morning All - Glad you are in Ca safe, Mary and Mark! Not too bad here, 4" of snow with a frosting of ICE!!!!!!!!!! Should warm up enough to melt the ice.

Good morning all!

Glad to hear that Mark, Mary & Bear made it safely to CA. Enjoy your trip!

For those of you that like to go to spas, I stumbled upon spa gift certificates through costco.com. I'm sure you have to have a membership to purchase. Anyway, you can get $100 worth of gift certificates for $80. You can look for a spa in your area that will accept the certificates through spafinder.com. Bruce & I don't usually do Christmas presents but I think I'm going to get him this. He can get an "athletic" massage at a day spa right down the road from us.

Don't know. NEver stepped foot in a Chicos. :)

Flannel is awesome. I'm wearing it right now. Slept in a bed of it last night. Mike's khaki's that he's wearing to work today are lined in it. We couldn't live without flannel here.

We have....SNOW! It started last night on the way to dress rehearsal. Rehearsal let out around 10:30 and it took me until 11:45 to get home (a 25 minute trip) Today is opening night. Wish you could all see it because it's very good (non-biased opinion, of course!)
