Serious question to all the Ebayers. How does Ebay deal with scalping? In Florida it is illegal to sell any ticket, auction or not, for $1 more than face value. It's not illegal to buy it, just to sell it.

How does Ebay deal with scalping laws or do they not care?

Depends on what state you live in. Ohio doesn't have any restrictions for buyers or sellers. In Michigan, on the other hand, you cannot bid higher than face value for tickets.

I was watching our 'wonderful' ( ) weather guy on the news last night, who has nothing better to do but compile useless facts, as the forecast never changes... he said we have already had 61 days this summer over 90 degrees... no kidding... feels more like 100 days!!! Now don't get me wrong, I don't ever want to see snow again, but the words 'heat index' are starting to make me almost as crazy as 'wind chill' used to!!! (well... not quite that bad yet).

Good Morning AllDiana - I don't think my husband has ever booked a room through DVC yet either.

I called about 2 weeks ago and made our reservations at Beach Club Villas for the 25th and finally got my reservations at the Radisson for the 26th a few days ago. Got a really good rate because I have a contact at our local Radisson and we are already on the schedule for the first shuttle drop off. We already have our week reserved at the Boardwalk when we get off the cruise, but may change it over to Beach Club at 7 months. Don't have enough BCV points.

Well, gotta run and get ready for work.

I don't think Mark has ever booked a DVC room (that's my job) but he did book Member Homecoming for us last year. It was also his phone that go through while dialing in for the Member Cruise - but then he gave it over to me while he went and posted online that we had made it to on hold. That was quite fun that morning with everyone checking in to see who had made it in or not.

Well, they do have DVC member cards, right? As I said, I'm sure they could figure it out. Problem is, we have one small contract that is separate. Different member number, it was a resale. When we came back from our first cruise, we decided we needed more points so we could cruise more, thus an extra 150 points at OKW. Then they announced BCV, so we did two add-ons there! Yes, we have lots of points, that's why Kevin keeps asking "so, did you buy any more points?" Because, for a while there, I had! I'm over it now, and still paying for them anyway.

Hello all!

I've been busy with work this morning but decided to take a little break.

Emily broke our hearts this morning. She started crying and saying that she didn't want to go to school because her tummy was hurting. I asked why and she said that she was nervous and scared. She said that no other kids want to play with her. I told her that she was out 2 days last week so she would just have to work a little harder at making friends this week. I'm not sure if I should try to contact her teacher or not. I hate the thought of my baby not having anyone to play with. Her birthday is Thurs. and I've already decided to bring cupcakes to school. Her teacher said to bring them at lunch.

Being a parent is so tough sometimes!
