Jim,

Sounds like you and Matt had a great time together. What a wonderful experience for a young man.

Thanks, and Matt had a good time too! :rotfl:

Actually he was asleep in the bedroom. Stacey wanted me to wake him up for a computer/DVD question but I didn't.

That was the night that the Daytona race ended at 1:45 AM!

forgot to tell you, Emmy joined the swim team and today was her 1st competition.SHE would not get in the water!!!!!!!! Maybe next week.

Nick did great.

Reminds me of the summer I put Jared in gymnastics along with Jordan....and he wouldn't get off the bleachers......
How old is Emmy? I started the swim team at age 6....my Mom wasn't too thrilled, but I was determined. Not fast,...but determined.

Well... we've gone from last weekend just 'THINKING' about a bigger house, to having a FOR SALE sign on the front lawn this morning.

:earseek: Guess there's an incentive to clean out and throw out!!! :rotfl2:

Since it's been about 6 hours, and my lips are no longer sealed....like I believe you won't laugh at me......

I have a bottle of the brush-on Crazy Glue. The other day, the brush part came apart from the handle. But I could still use it if I pried the little brush out with my fingernail. This morning, it was glued shut, my fingernail couldn't get it out. So, without even thinking (like THAT'S a first for me!) I used my teeth to pull it out. Crazy Glue does not taste good. The gel kind really works really well. I think I still have some on my front teeth. I threw the bottle away. Jared thought it was priceless, and the dog still won't come out from behind the couch. :sad2:

Just got back from seeing Phantom of the Opera on stage - it's been over 10 years since we've seen the stage version and still loved every minute of it. The kids were on the edge of their seats through the whole thing. It was a great experience to share it with them!

I was about in tears at the beginning as the covers are coming off of the opera house, the overture is playing and the chandelier is rising. Thank goodness it was dark... That is my favorite scene by far...Close 2nd is desending into the lake...

We had an understudy Phantom and he was awesome! That must be a tough role to understudy, with all of the techical aspects, I'm sure it's a tough to do only occasionally.

Oh yeah... its amazing how much crap we've accumulated in 2 short years... we thought we got rid of everything before we moved here!!!

I'm sure you've read the "souvenir thread" :rotfl2:
Yes... Elizabeth is a souvenir from the Big Red Boat... back before the days of DCL (when it WAS "THE" Disney cruise). That commercial always makes me laugh. (And to think that we had the worlds smallest cabin, with 2 non-moveable little beds....)

I've seen it several times, and love it too! A friend that I went to school with from Kindergarten through high school is in it on Broadway... he understudies for Phantom, and plays several other major parts every night. I've always seen it in Boston, though, so I haven't seen him perform.
