Yea!! You did it!! :cheer2:

Now try renaming that Yahoo picture and see if that doesn't work as well!

Will it let me do that???I thought it had to keep its name. Wow, I am realizing how technologically unprepared I am for picture posting.

Well, we decided at the last minute to make a trip to Carlsbad NM for the holiday. We are going to take the kids and Scoopie to Carlsbad Caverns. Will post when we return. Kevin, may need your assistance when we get back.

Thanks

Yep- that's on the calendar too! Lisa really is tiny, isn't she! Elizabeth is almost as tall as me, is on the verge of stealing my size 9 shoes (she's only a size away!!), and my t-shirts are slowly migrating into her room...

We went shopping for Lisa today and she still is a size 6-slim (very hard to find) and her shoes are 2. She SOOOO wants to be able to shop in the juniors section with middle school approaching, but since she hasn't even made it to the girls 7-14 size range yet, that is not going to happen.

If you want to upgrade, check this Dell out looks VERY nice!! I've been thinking about doing the same thing, since my desktop is going on 4 years old now. The squirrels are getting tired..... :teeth:
I just ordered us the Dimension 8400 with 1GB memory, 250 GB hard drive, 'free' 19" flat panel monitor, and DVD burner in 2nd bay, etc. etc. and an Inspiron 9300 to go with it. Going to do the wireless home network with them...DS got a game for 'his' computer only to find out it wouldn't work. Game needed 256 memory, his had 1/2 of that, and my laptop video screen went out about 7 months ago. I have it hooked up to a small flat screen monitor...not very portable.
It wasn't 10,000, but it was a TOP!

I 'free' 19" flat panel monitor,

We like to call that "included."

As in "hey, I just got free ice cream at Scoops." the reply "it's 'included' :) "

Computer says 2.67 gHz and 512 MB RAM......
Gosh, that should be more than enough processing speed and RAM. I'm not a big fan of HP computers. They make awesome printers, but I had some trouble with one their boxes we got from CostCo one year. Never again. I have stuck with Dell now for several years. We have all Dell boxes at home and at the office and all has been great!

How fun!! Be happy to help out in what ever way you need (except admission cost.....)

let me know! :banana:

We have had really good luck with all their products so far. We like to get the 2yr service program on the machines, because if it's going to break it will usually happen fairly soon. They even come to your house and make the repairs or part change outs. Diana had a hard drive go once and they replaced in within a couple of days. I was pretty impressed.....

Actually, it was the next day. I have the three year service plan on my current computer. It has another year to go.

Stacey, you might try calling the tech number on for the software. Maybe they can help you. Of course, they may just tell you to get a new computer! Seems like a Pentium IV was what I had before this one.

HELP!

Someone, I think it was kikiKaren, told me all I had to do was make iron on transfers with the kids' names and iron them into all of their clothes and belongings....

I'm trying....

but I've spent 45 minutes trying to flip the text around so that once I iron it on their names are correct, instead of being printed backwards!!!

I'm using Microsoft Word 2003 and I'm not finding ANY way to flip text. Their help menus are cruddy too, so that's not helping.

Ideas anyone?

Don't you hate it when you spend forever trying to figure something out until finally you ask for help.....

and then two minutes later figure it out on your own???

Grrr. But it's done. Now to iron it on everything.

All this and I've been fighting a migraine all day. :(

Oh-Minnie.....type the text in backwards! :upsidedow
Or just use a Sharpie. Don't make it so tough on yourself. (From the lazy mom)

Got some help at Circuit City...will try some of the simple steps first, before buying anything new. Trying some different disks, and got a new photo program....Adobe PhotoShop Elements and Premiere Elements.... We shall see...but I'm doubtful.

Feed that girl!!! (I know, I know... I was a gymnast, and very small for my age too... I think I wore an 8 going into 6th grade... you'd never know it now!)
Elizabeth is going to pass me out in height within the next year or so.

Couldn't you have just put the paper in the printer backward??? :confused3

Karen (OM) - went to try and find an answer and then saw you figured it out. So when are you going to be at camp? We'll miss you and be thinking of you!

We have to leave at the crack of dawn Tuesday morning. Kids will start showing up early afternoon. We're released from our sentence on Saturday around 4:30 pm. I figure I'll come home and crash, do laundry all of Sunday and then first thing Monday morning acting classes start downtown (3 weeks of them!) My life will slow down sometime around August 1st. Or then again, maybe not! :)

Lookin' forward to that member cruise and sitting out on Deck 4 watching the ocean go by and by and by!! :boat:

Or as we said heading into St. Thomas - the crack of doom!

Keep the focus on cruising in 9 weeks!
