Good Morning All - Thunderstorms rolled thru last night. They shook the house. Poor Sam spent most of the night in the basement hallway, she HATES storms.

Off to Curves, for the 1st time this week!

What they've done with the "staggering"...they list different times for groups of people..but they are all still either the 6:00 dinner or the 8:30 (or is that 6:30 and 8:00?) anyway...they would say, for example, "arrive at 6:15" and another "arrive at 6:00".....but the serving all starts at the same time. They're just trying to cut down on the lines in the hallways.
Sorry if someone already answered....

Monica, did you finally get some rain? I saw that there was flooding in Houston area. Did y'all expect any with Emily next week? We're still having our daily thunderstorms here. I went outside last night to pick a few tomatoes (growing in a pot) and the ground went squish!!!

The Big Red Boat was Premier Cruise Line and for a time used the Disney Characters and a tie in to WDW. They later switched to Looney Tune Characters until they went bankrupt. When we first sailed on the Magic in 1999 we were in Nassau with the Big Red Boat and while red it wasn't that big.

We went on the BRB in May of '93... it was VERY 'Disney-fied' then... the cruise director/activity staff were Disney CM's, and the 'Fab 5' were everywhere on board. Granted, it wasn't DCL, but that didn't exist at the time, so it was as good as it got.

They had a land/sea package, just like DCL does, and it really was a good experience... this was BEFORE it went downhill, lost its affiliation with Disney, and went bankrupt. I think it had a 'special place in my heart' because I had sailed on that ship a few times as a child, when it was owned by a very classy Italian cruise line... it was like 'going home again'.



PS... the momma dolphin in my siggy had her baby yesterday...

Jim - ours is coming from Amazon as well. Did the same with the last book and it arrived about mid-day Saturday. I sure have geared up by re-reading the others but I'm ready. I'm the HP fan in the house, but Mark does come to the movies with me.

We've had rain all week - Emily is currently predicted to come in at Brownsville, but has been moving on a more northward course - so, only time will tell. The grass and plants are loving all this rain - the kids aren't, they want to go to the pool...It's raining now, too...

Speaking of rays. Can't wait to hear reviews when it opens on the swimming with stingrays at CC. We've done it in Grand Cayman and also in Antiqua. I love stingrays!

Just checked UPS - my HP was delivered to the UPS sorting center in Houston. Does that mean it'll be delivered today or will it be held until tomorrow?

OK... I might as well come clean now, as there's one in every crowd... I am the anti-HP... don't read the books, see the movies, get 'hype-notized' by the hype, and neither do my kids... we're an HP-less household.

So I guess it should be a pretty quiet weekend, as the REST of the free world will have their noses in the new HP book... me, I'll be cleaning my house some more. (Ugh..)

There wasn't one yesterday- I'm waiting for the birth announcement to come in my e-mail today... they won't know the sex for a few months, so I'm not sure if they'll name it now or later. Momma was looking pretty hefty when we took that pic a few weeks ago.
