Just called my parents. I saw on the Budget Board that SW was having a fare sale. They had talked about going to visit my sister in FL in Sept. since the kids have a few days off of school. I was able to find them $39 each way from New Orleans to MCO. I wish SW flew to ATL!!!

We were going to stay at Fort Wilderness before the cruise, but now we've (mostly me) decided that the pop-up just won't do for a week's vacation. I doubt if we get a different RV between now and the cruise, so we have to decide what to do pre-cruise. I tried to get DH to tell me what he'd like to do, but he doesn't know. That just won't do for the obsessive/compulsive planner that I am. He's not keen on staying at WDW, and would like to stay at Cocoa Beach. We've stayed at the Marriott Courtyard, but anyone else stayed somewhere nice with beach access? :sunny:
We are talking about staying at Vero beach for a few days before the cruise. You are welcome to join us!! There will be talk of shore diving as well!!

We've gotten some great deals that way. Albuquerque to Orlando for $90 each way.
Just recently we booked the office trip for the guys from ABQ to Baltimore for $79 each way. Last time we went it was 2.5 times that!

I know what you mean. DD is 'pooh' sized, and needed prom dresses 2 years in a row. I made both dresses for her, as it is very hard to find plus-sized formal wear on a budget. The material alone was some big bucks, but she looked beautiful both years. I can't believe that it has been 8 years ago since then. Where has the time gone. And they've been hanging in my extra closet every since :confused3 .
hmmm....pooh sized gal here in need of a dress....

Irene, you are the recap QUEEN!! :worship:

Thanks CajunGirl2 and Dancind - Now, ponder this, would I rather be a "Queen" or a "Cliff"....ok - I have watched Cheers, Queen it is, do I get a crown? princess:

Looks like everyone was busy this past weekend. Me included. Lots of construction going on. DH making holes all over for the plumbing. CAC(central A/C) guy was here and we're all set.

And good luck with all that construction, better you than me....

Now I can work on my 4 posts a day! :cheer2:

Irene, I sew (or least I used to before having kids) and could easily spend $200 just sewing a formal outfit. Let's just say I've done my share. A couple of velvet numbers and one tafetta for a Mardi Gras ball. My favorite was a black velvet tank top with Swarzovski crystal buttons and a gold organza skirt with an irredescent tafetta underlining. The tank top may still fit but know for sure that the skirt won't.

I'll PM you the present pattern I am attempt to rip and tear...oh, I mean sew. If I post it here, there will be too many crazy (glue) jokes. :rotfl2:
And being the delicate flower that I am, I mean, sensitive and all that, I will spare myself the laughter, oh, I mean constructive comments. :teeth:

:earboy2: bye!

I love FW - have you checked the prices for the "cabins".
As for Cocoa - I have heard Ron Jon's is fun, but no first hand experience. :wave2:

I may have to start posting from the library. My dial up is just not picking up. I called my isp and they suggested deleting files, cookies, running my antivirus, turning the 'puter off............

I have been doing all of the above on both 'puters. It must(?) be the ISP, right?

You managed to "steal" my TOP, so I think the dial-up is working just fine and dandy :rotfl2:

Seriously, I am not a techie, but last time that happend, I needed to re-run all the spyware, ad-aware, defrag etc etc. :badpc:

Oh boy sometimes I feel like a thread killer within my thread here...you all post away all day whilst I am toiling away at work....then when I come home and am ready to play, everyone goes into hiding :-(
