My DH thinks I'm crazy. But it's at a really nice Italian wedding factory and the food is to die for. Catch up with you guys tomorrow. Looks like the rest of my day is crazy.

I'm back from eating outdoors. Somethin' 'bout a little bit of onion rings to go with that grease! I have a feeling that I'll be miserable this afternoon! The word is that we'll have ice cream later on.

Do you find there is only one bad part about dining out? It is either as good or not nearly as good as what you can do yourself...(o.k. - not me cooking, John...)

We tend to leave a restaurant unsatisfied because John has developed his level of cooking to the point where we can't afford the really good restaurants, wish we could just to call it research...So, if we go out for date night, we tend to hit restaurants with styles that John wouldn't ordinarily cook...

Same issue with the Scuba Family. Jim is an excellent cook and he is teaching the children to cook, so quite often what they fix is superior to what we could get at a restaruant. However, over the six weeks Matt is gone, and with Lisa at the Gym each evening - I think because it may be easier , Jim & I may go out more often. But, Jim is usually picking about what he will order from various restaurants.

Ok, that's foreign to me! I'll take your cell phone number with me at all times so if I have trouble I'll call you!!

He would be used to that Karen - how do you think I get the right meat, etc if I have to pick it up (which is rare). It is so much easier for me to have him pick up exactly what he wants when he goes to Costco's or Sams. I make the weekly Publix runs.

HI everybody. I beat Kevin to the thread! We got back home about 10:30 and he went to work. Somebody has to. I've read, well skimmed, all the posts, and now I really need a nap. Not commenting on the posts, it's just that we got up at 4:30 this morning to catch a 7:30 flight which was 2:30 Albuquerque time.

We found Banfi at the Winn Dixie close to WDW, but I think we got the last bottle!

Soarin' is great! I think it's my new favorite.

Or I guess I could load my dive gear in the car and drive them down!

Oh wow - may take you up on that....I make the mistake of leaving town on business for a day and I have 10 pages of posts to catch-up on.

Loads of rain here and around the Lake - so I hate to think about the ppor folk in LA.

We got in trouble in FL as little kids by hitting the small - unripe - green oranges over into our neighbor's windows with badminton rackets.

Tell me you DO know what a crab apple is????

Small, red fruit, very sour- about the size and shape of a cherry, good for making crab apple jam and that's about it (Well... good for throwing at windows too... small enough not to hurt anything)... beautiful trees in the spring with pink flowers... that is until they shed all over your car when the tree hangs over the driveway.

GOOD Morning all

No 'puter in the car and I was chasing the rain across the state once yesterday and once again today - blah - it was so heavy around the lake, I think Scuba would have been right at home in the road.....instead of 60 feet under...Anyway - onward, I want to see if we made it to post 7000.
