Thanks for the offer, but will have to pass. I'm there for a full 36 hours.

During which time we have to see Sharon's dad in Detroit, drive out to see Matt and my parents, and then back to airport for a very early Monday morning flight.

I need to do a long run this weekend so Matt is going to run with me Sunday morning. It might be the only time I get a little Father-Son time.

Well I could go for the milepost, but it's no fun without some competition.

Virgil must not be working this morning.
Nope - If I was working - I'd have been posting..... but I was sleeping in on my one day off.....

Jeez, everyone gets to a milestone then slacks off. I had to pick us up from page 2! :thumbsup2

Congrats, Kevin and Mary for the Milestones!

It's tech week - Oklahoma is this summer's musical. So, yes in combination with the remodeling, John's life is insane, picking up the slack on the set construction, lighting design & sound design... Working on props, my work is almost finished. Or, at least it should be, I warned everyone to get their last minute changes in by tonight. I leave town on Wednesday, the day before opening day...

We finally had a day of sunshine yesterday :woohoo:

KiKi...did you go to the race this morning? Sharon drove right by the track this morning around 8 am and did not even notice that they were getting ready for a race.

No... we sat in the rain for 4 hours Friday night waiting for it to get cancelled (because Christopher REFUSED to leave...), and I sort of neglected to tell him that it was rescheduled for 9AM Saturday... instead, my neighbor and I took our 5 kids to the beach for the whole day... (then told Christopher the race was in the AM... by that time, he was so tired, he didn't care). I probably would have gone if I had realized that we could use our Friday night tickets for free backstretch seats for Saturday night... but by the time I had found that out, I was over-sunned, and ready to hang out in the A/C and watch the race on TV.

Christopher has become a HUGE Tony Stewart fan, and was more than a little unhappy with the race... which makes me more glad that we weren't there. He would have been miserable. (Which would have made ME miserable).

Of course, Ray worked all week at the track... haven't really seen him, but I know he's around by the dirty, wet laundry that has been showing up every morning. Seems like he still works for the track... though now he gets to go HOME when the fans do!!!!!

Tell him to hang in there!! Drink lots of coffee!!!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening....
I have been in Gainesville visiting a college friend who is in the hospital today.

NO, not because of my visit....gesh!!!:rolleyes1

She was scheduled for surgery which was "routine". The good news is that they were right and she is now recovering...

NO, not because of my visit....gesh!!!:rolleyes1

We had fun relaxing with some movies, shopping, food.....you know, general anti-stress events.....

And then I had the long drive home.

Congrats on the milestone Kevin, I was not even on-line to try to snag it.
Sorry about the race cancellations, Kiki but then, we need the rain....at lease we still do down south.

I have not otherwise caught up so will do that now.

I posted the last few days of our cruise pictures - I have a couple more shots to upload, but they are mostly there. I hope that you enjoy them. We had a great time, but we missed all of you.....

We were on page TWO! :sad2:

Great pictures, Virgil!

Am I the only one who looked at Nice and Eze and thought "Nice and easy"???

Not a whole lot going on around here lately, just trying to stay cool. Today wasn't bad actually, it was only 102°.

My friend brought her grandson over to swim yesterday. He's 15 months old already (time flies!) and is really a ball of energy. I'd forgotten how funny they get to be at that age. It was fun.

Nope - the excursion I took was "Nice and Eze with wine and cheese"....

Nice and easy I do say.....
