We've been watching that series on Discovery. Even I think it's pretty interesting. I think it's just called Most Dangerous Jobs.....or something like that.

So Sharon, you get to go somewhere by yourself? Does it involve gymnastics? I hope it's cruising!

Can I go to Florida and beat up Jim? Please?

Everything Sharon does involves gymnastics.....like our trip in two weeks to Mississippi.

And sure, come on over to Florida. I'll take you on! :lmao: But you have to bring Kevin and all his dive gear.

Hi all!

It's going to be a chilly Easter weekend here in GA. Garry, we're going to be 25 degrees tomorrow & Sun. morning. Guess the girls will have to wear tights & coats with their Easter dresses.

My parents have been here for a week now & I'm ready for them to go. I've decided the 4 days is probably the max that I can take them. That does sound bad, doesn't it? They have been great with the girls. They will be with us through the weekend.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

Nope. Doesn't sound bad at all. I've been trying to get to NC to visit my sister now for about a year. I'd like to spend a week, hang out, catch up, etc. But one of our schedules always gets in the way. When I have a break, she's out of town or busy, and vice versa.

Now my nephew is graduating from HS in June and my parents want to know if I want to go down with them. They don't want to stay at my sisters b/c there will be other relatives. So they want to take the camper. Me, my kids, my parents, in a camper for a week???? With a crappy shower. Uh....yeah, uh....I think I might be busy.

I'm thinking skip the graduation, send a card and money, and try to go down and see her later in the year.

:confused3

p.s. my parents did recently say "maybe we can just share a hotel room." the only benefit there is the shower is better. ;)

All 6 of you??? :scared1: :scared1: I hate sharing a hotel room with anyone... never mind 6 people.

No. Mike is the smart one. He doesn't take vacation time for things like this. Just says "sorry, I have to work, I can't come."

That reminds me, I've got a nephew graduating too, here in Albuquerque. Thank goodness. Wonder where my announcement is?

Jim, I think the scuba equipment would slow me down a bit. Might not be a fair fight.

Our family motto is "Fish and family both spoil in three days". We live by that. 4 days would be way to much.

Jack update:

Mike called over and talked to the attending on the infectious disease floor. The doc said that when Jack came up from the ICU he looked great. He was fine overnight. They gave him his last dose of steriods this morning and then sent him home. :) :) :)

I haven't seen hide nor hair of them. I want to take over his birthday gift and balloons but I'm so afraid they came home and hit the sack that I'm afraid to wake them up.

Maybe later, if I see signs of life, I'll head over!
Thanks, everyone, for your prayers. :)

Just reminiscing, our very first WDW trip was an early May trip. It was Flower & Garden time, stayed in the Epcot area. Had a beautiful water view room at the Beach Club for nine nights, sprang for the Gold Plan or whatever it was called in 1999. It was loverly.

mmmmm..First WDW trip was a day trip in the summer of 1972 or 73....I drove my Mother and Father in my 1960 black stretch cadillac.....

There is a neat series of pins starting, called "Remember when".....

sigh....swan boats, Empress Lilly, Buena Vista shops, Penny Arcade.......

You bet I do! :thumbsup2

I'm already thinking ahead to next February. If Jordan makes the Varsity dance team, they'll go to Nationals in Orlando. I'd have three choices....go with the team as a chaperone (:headache: ).....go on my own to watch (:goodvibes )....or not go at all.

Hmmmm........:scratchin

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Wait, am I cheering for Jordan to make the team, or Stacey to come to Orlando?

I know - BOTH!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

What a wonderful way to start the Easter Weekend...

Thanks for the update.

You're probably right, they most likely are sleeping, or at least resting. Good for him!! Glad all is well for them.

Yes, I can't imagine her going to Florida, and me not being there.

Tryouts are next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They find out if they made it on Friday, so I'll let you know.

Stacey, you know Jordan will make it! Better start packing your bags now. Do they go to Nationals every year?
