Kevin is at Blue Hole again this weekend, so he might not check in for a while. Alicia has a show this weekend, dancing with the symphony. It's the stilt one. Kevin is going tonight, I'm going Sunday. Expensive tickets!

Next week is spring break, so I probably won't get much done. And I really need to, my ebay store is getting empty. I just sold six dresses to a lady in Russia! She's going to pay by Western Union, so no worries.

Hope Stacey is having fun!

I saw the show on the Travel Channel last night "Cruising Do's and Don'ts." I'm sure it has been talked about, they interviewed Christian and Hollywood, so I'm glad I watched!

It was right after "Samantha Brown's First Cruise" which was a 12 day Med cruise! Now I so want to goooooo!

Busy weekend for me as well...

Off to Gainesville today and then to Tallahassee on Sunday and back home Monday.....Lots of driving. One small receptions but it will not be like the one KikiKaren posted.

Diana - did you get you e-bay postings done? and is Kevin ever going to come back and say Hi.

See you all on Tuesday.....

You said the magic words!! Let's go diving!!! I'm game! Whatcha got in mind????

You should introduce yourself as a new poster!:lmao:

Teaching must be keeping you busy. At least you don't have to worry about seas at Blue Hole. It sure does look like Sunday will be a bust for us, but we will be there just in case it does work out.

:cheer2: :cool1: I am sure Sam and Jim can figure "something" out to keep them occupied if the dive is a bust. I know Jim enjoyed the pub they took him to after his marathon in December.

I will be cheering Lisa and Bugs on at their State Gymnastics Meet. This is the first step in the State / Regional / National run (Each meet determines who moves on to the next level) So tomorrow morning at 8am the girls need lots of Prayers and Pixie Dust for a great meet.

:cheer2: :grouphug: :cheer2: :tigger:

We're Back!!! - Unpacked the suitcases, waded through the mail, e-mail, and now catching up. I'll do a trip report later and get John to post pictures... But, in brief - o.k. not so brief:

The Grand Princess was nice - we achieved our goal - relaxation. 8 books in 7 days!!! Missed the attention to detail that Disney does so well. Dirty dishes everywhere on deck for hours. I had to ask staff to move out of a non-smoking area when they sat down at a table next to us to smoke. Disembarkation was slow - over 3 1/2 hours.

Their specialty Italian dining was fantastic! We ate there on the first night and again last night. The Princess Executive Chef was on board making changes to Sabatini's menu.

Great weather - great snorkeling. Great Margaritas in the town outside of Costa Maya. In Cozumel had fun watching the last minute arrivals before sailing. 2 casino staff were late - watched their passports being handed to the cruise agent. As we pulled away (on-time) they were making the long run down the pier. They were able to get into a Port Authority boat and come up along side the ship to take a rope ladder up.

Still nice only being 20 minutes from port!

Our pre-cruise documents were waiting in the stack of mail. Does that mean we can go again? we now have luggage tags, boarding documents, etc... Laundry's almost done - we can be packed and back on board before sailing :lmao:

Where is everyone today? We are back from church and trying to get a few things done around the house. I promised to take Ashley and a friend to the movies this afternoon to see "Pride" It actually looks pretty good and I am looking forward to seeing it as well.

Monica - it looks like you missed all the excitement......

yeah right, they "fell" - We were with friends on a balcony the Costa Maya sail away, even on John, those balconies were high...They should be charged the expense of the cruise line(s) who partipated in the search and the Coast Guard, time and inconvenience. On time, the Grand had to put it in high gear to get from Galveston on Sat to Costa Maya on Tuesday - won't surprise me if they'll be late pulling in tomorrow - if at all.

Cruise Critic "live" posters are saying officials required all passengers to remain in their rooms and were personally and visibly counted by staff.

Interesting that both were nude in the water..... Hmmmmmmm.....

:rotfl:

No clothes in combination with the reports from their cabin mates, the furniture was heard moving before the scream and the splash...

Although, Princess does teach how to jump into the water in the muster drill...

they could have simply been practicing what they learned....and it's Princess' fault for including it in the drill, planting the idea (Where's the tongue in cheek smiley...)

Wow. Wonder if they will ever get the true story on that one?

The show went well, no mishaps with the stilts. Two down, one to go. Alicia had her picture in the paper last Sunday. That's twice now, I think.

We are drinking frozen Margaritas, the famous recipe. It's an after-scuba tradition, except I don't have to participate in the scuba part. We were out of triple sec, so Kevin had to use some of my Grand Marnier. These are really good. I'm having a little trouble typing though.

The latest from a "Live Aboard" thread is that the woman was seen dancing on tables in bar earlier -- maybe she was trying that on the balcony:confused3

Thanks for the reminder. I have not made that receipe for a long time.

Kevin just needs to come up with a single version since I should not be drinking a whole batch by myself.

Good morning everyone!

Welcome home Stacey!

Diving was a no go yesterday. The seas were to rough, again. This is the second trip with Sam and Irene that got blown out.

Instead I had running gear and got in my morning run. After that Sam and I meet up at his favorite Irish Pub for an Irish breakfast and beer.

Even though they were not open when we got there we were able to find an open window and got in.

There were a lot of cars and streets closed so something big was going on. Come to find out it was a "rainbow" paraide and they were proud.

I started to get a little concerned about why Sam invited me to that bar on that day. At least he did not suggest that we hold hands and skip down the street. :lmao:
