I will get her to a doctor, but I don't think they will do anything. She'll look like a boxer before too long. She's a dancer all right, add the back pains and wounded feet and my girl is falling apart before she even turns 16!

That is the difference between a school nurse and a "Coach". Believe me, the amount of sympathy gymnasts, dancers, etc recieve is minimal. It's "shake if off" and do it again. That is truly "Tough Love" HAHA:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Try being married to a football coach... our kids need to lose a limb, and even then empathy is questionable...:rotfl2:

Try being married to a pediatrician who trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Apparently the headache I have is NOT an brain bleed. The lump I have is NOT cancer. The rash I have is NOT leprosy. The neck pain I have is NOT a disecting vertebral aneurysm. The chest pain I have is NOT a heart attack. The dizziness I have is NOT a stroke. The hand weakness I have is NOT myesthenia gravis. ....etc etc....

And our kids get just as much sympathy as I do.

Now, if MIKE is sick.....

2012 is a great year for graduations - Lisa will graduate from High School along with KT, Lauren, Elizabeth, and I am sure more from the families of our group. That's it, mass graduation party on a DCL Cruise.:cheer2: :cheer2:

Add Ashley to that, as well as Dale graduating from College in 2012

Totally agree with you there Sharon. When Ashley's thumb was broken and we thought her wrist to (thankfully it wasn't) coach's were very unsymphathetic and told her to swim more and think about the pain less

Just caught up reading all the posts. I had also received the email yesterday about the two new ships. Great news for DCL fans.

Diana -- hope Alicia is okay, no fun

Stacey -- hope Jared is feeling well soon

Mark & Mary -- have a great time on your trip

Our trip to WDW is a little over two weeks away. If anyone is going to be in the area, we will arrive in the afternoon on Monday, March 12 and will leave early on Monday, March 19. I had to take what I could get through DVC, so we are at Saratoga the first 4 nights, then Beach Club for 2 nights and finally a Priceline deal on Sunday night.

Jim -- I am sure Dale would love for Matt to come and hangout some at the parks is they are not in school that week.

There is one thing worse than trying to book a Disney cruise the day the reservations open up. Reserving online home Cubs tickets at Wrigley field the moment the single game tickets go on sale:eek:

John is such a great, wonderful guy! While working from home this he camped out on the internet to get tickets for the kids and I this summer when we visit the grandparents. He logged onto a waiting room at 9:30, parking until 10:00 start and finally made reservations at 1:30...:surfweb:

And so that my pre-teen son won't lodge a protest about going to a dumb Cubs game with his fanatic mother and sister- I'm planning our visit around when the Astros are in Chicago...

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:p Oops....okie dokie!!

Irene, if you see Jim this weekend, will you give him a hug for me? Right around his scrawny little neck??? Squeeze reeeeel tight..... :lmao:

It feels kind of good being back and stirring the pot (double checked the spelling). :cool1:

I'm starting to sound like OH.

I'm sure we can work something out. I don't have the calendar in front of me (since I'm at the gym), but we will check.

I've been thinking about these two new ships......do you know how old I'll be when they come out?? OLD. Therefore, they should name one in honor of me.

Disney Depends

Shall we start a naming contest?

Morning All ---

TA sent an e-mail - do we want to be waitlisted.

What the heck --- SURE :goodvibes

Good morning everyone! Well it is 3:30 in the morning here in Hawaii but we are wide awake!

Had a really great flight! It wasn't 10 hours it was actually 9 1/2. Really though it was very smooth and the time went relatively quickly. They showed 2 movies and we had brought out own movies and our books so it was all good.

The resort is beatutiful! Definately up to Disney stanards. We got an 11th floor ocean view room. Which also means we have a view of the construction site but that's cool. Saw an absolutely beautful sunset last night. I even got to see the famed green flash. Awesome!

Today the plan is just to explore the resort and maybe do some snorkeling. I definately see a nap in my future. :)
