Good Morning All - how was everyone's Saturday - except Jim's? His was magical as I saw his post at the top of the page....

Congrats on another finish.......

Happy Sunday All.

got latest lab results - some things are looking much better
T.Bili is down substancially from last month 3.3 from 4.8 -(best it's been in several years)

must have been cruising with friends!! just think how much better it would have been if we had all been on DCL.

GaRRy

YIPPPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Question for everyone:

I just glanced on the main boards and saw a thread (didn't read it) about maybe the Magic coming to the West Coast again in '08. So my question is....

Would you all cruise the Mexican Riviera, if that's where the Magic will be in '08???

I would do it again for a couple of reasons......

One: It's the Magic!
Two: It would be with the Blabbermouth Group!
Three: Really close to fly to!!!!

I am interested in going anywhere not gone before. How is the diving?

Read the thread about 2008 - Hopefully we will know for sure soon.

Maybe they will do something different with the Wonder as well. I'd love for her to visit some of the alternative ports....

Of course he got a better one.....it's a guy thing.

Believe it or not - the W20 was cheaper than the W10. It's a 7 megapixel versus a 6 megapixel - so I couldn't believe that Amazon (and everyplace else) had it cheaper......

It's not about the cost, it's about the megapixels.

You got a 7 and she only has a 6. :woohoo:

DOn't know about a Mexican Riviera cruise for us. Although we can drive to LA in a day, I am not sure I want to do DCL on a Mexican Riviera cruise. Both of our other cruises were Western Itineraries and I really want to do an Easten or Southern Carib. cruise.

I think that they may alternate 3/4 and 7 nighters on the Wonder if they do move the Magic back to California. I can't see them not doing a 7 nighter out of PC for 2 summers in a row. Of course I could be wrong.

Pam I agree with everything in your post. We really want to do an Eastern Carib or maybe even a Southern but not Mexican.

Also since they haven't released the Wonder or Magic it will be interesting to see which ship goes out West and what the other ship does. I could see them doing 3 night, 4 night, 7 night Eastern, 7 night Western, 3 night, 4 night, etc.

We'll have to wait and see.

IF DCL heads out West and the other ship is only doing the Nassau run we would actually look at another ship like Freedom of the Seas which does Eastern cruises.

Mary & Pam, I hope you're right. I think going to the west coast would be cost-prohibitive for us. I was so disappointed to read the threads on the main board this morning. I'm really hoping for some sort of 7-night out of PC. I'd even go for a 10-night Southern Carribean.

Now I need to go back & catch up since Fri.

Jim -- great news about your race. Disney always does things right!!

Garry -- congratulations on your test results. Keep up the good work. It was too bad that you and your son didn't get to dive on your cruise.

Mary -- hopefully you will know something before the rest of us with all your connections on the DIS:goodvibes

Have a great Sunday everyone!! Tomorrow is our kids first day back at school. They are not too excited about it. Dale got home about 10 p.m. last night from his trip to Odessa. He didn't do as well at AREA as he would have liked, came in 11th place overall. Only 3 advance to state. Unfortunately for us this year our area was redistricted and our kids competed against several of the big schools out of the Dallas/Fort WOrth area. The two kids from El Paso that played bassoon were the only ones that did not have wood bassoons (ours are a cheaper resin material) and they placed 10th and 11th. No matter how well you play, it sounds better out of a true wood instrument. That is what happens when you have a poor school district.

Even with the document posted on the main boards, it's just too hard to speculate what DCL might do.

I know that I will be totally bummed out if they bring one of the ships over here, and lots of you guys don't go! I've been looking forward to our Blabbermouth reunion cruise.....
I know that there would always be the possibility of doing back to backs...or that maybe they'd still be doing 7 nights out of PC....
But from our standpoint.....it is sooooo wonderful to be able to cruise with Disney right at our back door for a change.
Like Angie said, flying across the country is really expensive! And it adds another day or two to the trip.

<SIGH> Guess we'll still just have to wait........popcorn::

U-T.O.P. !!

Garry, good news about the test results! But does that mean that you've moved further down the list?

Jim, congrats on another good running day. Seems like running is replacing scuba a bit?

Irene, maybe Kevin or Jim will chime in on Mexican diving.

He still holds his spot on the list...but it does mean that he won't move up yet.
There is also a possibility that his liver is improving on its own. Only a biopsy would tell that for sure. Hey....I believe in MIRACLES!

I don't think it is replacing running. We are just in the running season and not the diving season.

We have done the springs so much they just don't hold any appeal. After Feb we will get some more diving in as the water warms up, possibly going to the Big O in March.

Any trip on the Magic or Wonder are great. The ports are just bonus. We were reminded of that on our short three day cruise. Had a great time and never got off the ship. :santa:

I'd need to go back through my pictures, but I think it was Cabo where we took the sailboat out, just my family and another family....snorkeled (water was a tad chilly) and they served a fantastic lunch.

Puerto Vallarta I think is where we went to John Huston's property and Jay, Jared and I did the resort dive thing. That was a beautiful spot, and I think Jared would like to try diving again. Maybe now would be a good time to get him started here.

And I do remember that we just toured Mazatlan, because I didn't want to do the whole cliff diving thing with 50 million other passengers. Our driver was great, showed us a lot of the area and took us to the main part of the city to the market and we went through a beautiful old church.

Yep....would definitely do it again.
Especially since it's DISNEY!! Just add in a few days at Disneyland, and I'm a really happy camper!

I'm trying to see if I can take the kids during our spring break, to Disneyland. I REALLY need a Disney "fix"!!
