Nothing like the ocean at sunrise. Even Lisa will get up and go to breakfast and watch the sunrise during the school year. That is my favorite breakfast to have with her.

We checked the UPS schedule and it stated that the booked had been delivered, and some guy named Thompson signed for it!!!!


Turns out, they gave them to the Postal Service to deliver today, since we ALL know the man in brown needs the weekend off.......

Hi guys - we were realy up for the day of diving and then....

Well, the ferral cat attacked my leg, I think it was sratches and not bites, but...???

no, have not yet gone to the ER -- a little worried...but back to diving...

Current was strong - swift - and carrying us away. We logged three of our AOW dives and did not even need the bread crumbs on our navigation dive..I passed!!!

AND I LOGGED DIVE #50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a rain dive. We pulled up to the birdge fo the navigation dive and yup, it rianed We geared u p in the rain and dove in the rain. 0-- strange - it was only a 6-10 foot dive. No safety stop, imagine that!


Um,discovered a new Irish Pub afte the dive...

But, but, but, but, I found the BAT fish ! yes, me, I found it -- neat, neat neat...and the scopian fish and the small file fish whcih I held in my hand (opps this is not fish id dive, pity).

Current was not too good, ie current was bad on all 3 dives, but we are only two dives away to AOW....yipeeee..

I have the new Harry Book... I am on the dis and Sam is washing dive gear...Life is good...

(Ok except for the cat bite, a bit scarey - stil not sure what I will do, but is is very washed and clean).

Yea Irene! Good for you on the dives!! Bad for you on the cat. Is it your cat? If not, I think I'd be seeing a doctor. If it's yours, and you're pretty sure it doesn't have rabies, then I suppose you're okay as long as you keep it clean. But then, I'm not the resident doctor. I guess you'll know if you start foaming at the mouth. Kidding!! sorry...not funny.....

Jordan got her book this morning and then went to the fund-raising car wash. She called me at noon and had already read a chapter. Must have been slow at the car wash. They ended up making $500. I didn't go...I just washed my car.

Actually, finished an hour ago. Only interruptions were to take food (and the book) to the kid, she had to work 8 hours today! She's still up reading, as soon as I can get her headed to bed I am going.

I hope I don't dream about he-who-must-not-be-named tonight.

We had our first big storm! Jared and I had gone to get some dinner (Jay's at the cabin) and almost didn't make it back home. I'm glad we did, though, because Jordan had gone to the movies and if we hadn't gotten home the dogs would have been alone. And the neighbor lady wouldn't have had a place to sleep. Yes, I have an unexpected overnight guest. She thinks maybe lightning hit her A/C and it got too hot in her house so she asked to spend the night here. She lives on about the 3rd five acre parcel away from our house, so we aren't exactly close, but we've helped her out before (widow) and I'm glad she wasn't too afraid or shy to call and ask, poor thing.
It is kind of weird having a "strange" person in the house though.
It worked out okay....Jordan couldn't get across the creek (which is why the neighbor didn't go to her son's or a friend's house) so she stayed at her friends house, so I'm in her room and Elena is in my room.

Funny, because I had a strange urge to really, really clean my bathroom and bedroom today. Normally I wouldn't care since I'm going to be gone and Jay will just make a mess of it anyway....but I did it....scrubbed and scrubbed the shower til it shined.... And now I know why. Unexpected company!
