Hey Jim (and Kevin) I need some fashion advice.

Black or Green. And the correct answer is:
Superstretch or Titanium?
3 or 5 or 2.5, 3.5 or 5?

And can you teach Sam how to hold a tape measure? :teeth:

I think we shall have to mail order after all.....the birth of the grandchild has taken them out of state....

PS - Stacey - you can play too......

After Monday's dive I decided to order a new one myself. My current 5 M is just to large. I'll check the website and get back with you.

On the color, get a little creative. You can mix and match the colors. They can put accent panels in the suit. Make the base part black and add some accent green panels. Use multiple colors.

I think you would look good in this one.

I'm going superstretch. The main advantage of Titanium is the wear. I don't wear out a suit. I like the ease of a superstretch. Just easier to put on. You will find that the custom fit makes it also very easy. Matt has zipper on his ankles and loves them.

Now, 3, 3.5 or 5....it all depends on what you are diving. Springs you want 5. Off shore a 3 or 3.5 should do you in the summer, but you might want a 5 in the winter. What about going with a 3 and than use a jacket over that for when it is colder.

Or do you get cold easy....if so just go with a 5. It is easier to cool down then to warm up.

Call and ask their advice. They are easy to deal with.

My dad had his angiogram this morning. They found 2 blockages in the same vein. The dr. was able to put in 1 stint to open up both blockages. I got to talk to my dad around 11:00 am. He sounded good but still whoozy. Tonight we all called and he sounded great. He's in ICU for observation but is supposed to be released from the hospital in the a.m. Now, he & my mom need to get more exercise & modify their diet.

Thanks for all of the prayers & pixie dust! I'm so thankful that he mentioned the tightness to the doctor & didn't just blow it off as an allergy.

Stacey, sorry your dad hasn't decided to get things taken care of. We'll pray that he can come to a decision that you all can live with.

Pam, hope y'all stay dry! Is all of the rain from John?

:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Wednesday!

Jim - you have got to be kidding - zebra stripes????? Me????????

I would so hate to clash with your suit, so I must be a wee bit more subdued...

I do need a front zip - that will spoil the line (gotcha there).

Lots to think about with the mil. I do get cold....so a 5 sounds appealing BUT, I get so overheated on board, that I cannot wait to get into my shortie and toss the Farmer Jane - so maybe a jacket. I saw one lady diver who wore a cute (what is the word) bolaro jacket - would that be warm enough? I am not sure I saw that offered......too many decisions........

Good morning everyone,

Good news at our house. We sold Augie's old '98 Ford F-150 last night. He bought a new '06 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 4-door short bed with the Sport package. Wowweee!!! Nice truck. We put his old truck on Cars.com and it sold within a week's time. I'm very happy about that. Anyway...the guy that bought the old truck has a Magellan and just about talked Augie (and me) into getting one. I LOVE gadgets so this is right up my alley. I think I remember Jim talking about one. Can someone give me some advice on which one is better or worse? It would only be used for recreational, neither one of us has a job that requires us to travel like that so we don't need an industrial strenght one.

Thanks...

So people who travel for work are more likely to get lost than people who travel for fun??? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Wow... quiet day around here. I'm just coming up for air and thought I'd check in to see what's been going on without me... obviously not a whole lot!!!!!

Angie- glad to hear that it wasn't something more serious w/ Dad.

Pam- Hope you dry out soon!!!!!

I actually had lunch with my hubby today... that hardly EVER happens!!! This is his last week at work, so he's got some time on his hands... then he'll be working from home ALL THE TIME!! :dance3: ... well... when he's not travelling. I see lots of clean laundry and cooked dinners in my future!!!!

And a TOP to boot!!

Hey OM, I just read Mike's piece on Night of Joy..Night of Hell.

Wasn't Night of Joy where Matt had Lisa in tears because he wouldn't answer his cell phone?

Hey follow posters, it is sunset in Naples and I need to scoot out to the Tiki Hut......so take care....

I'll send you a report later, although I do not expect any sightings of strange sea creatures.

Hi ladies and gents!

All DVD's are on the way! Everyone who participated should have recieved a pm from me, but I'm just covering all bases announcing here.

I actually packed and did the shipping on Monday, and dropped off the whole batch (except for two, you p.o. boxers, yours went mail), at the main northside UPS depot on Tuesday morning.

Mark and Mary,

Thank you so much for taking on this task and getting out to the rest of us for our highly anticipated viewing. We can't wait to see everybody else's pictures.

NO!!! What I meant was that I don't need a lot of bells and whistles. It's not going to be used everyday. Wise guy!!

So, Ray's not going to be working at the track anymore? That's going to make your family/friends happy. No more free tickets? Tell Ray we wish him luck in his new job.
