Irene, good luck at the dermatologist today. I did that about a month ago ... dr. biopsied a freckle that was growing ... came back benign so no worries. All of those years in the sun with no sunscreen.

Garry, no more hurting yourself!!! You should be taking it easy & taking care of yourself!

Oh, I'm sorry, Pete invited us to the DIS party that same night. Seriously. No kidding.

Very cool.

But we aren't going to that either. We'll have family at WDW---a set of parents who we haven't taken yet, so it's going to be all about sharing the magic with them.

I think we need to renew our AP's... we've gone 7 months without them... I said we'd wait a whole year before renewing... but I love WDW all decked out for Christmas!!!! Don't know if I can wait til next May.

(It doesn't help to live so close when you don't have AP's... )

I got antibiotics! Maybe I will quit coughing eventually. I think I've busted something in the side of my neck.

Note to self (using Irene's expression), don't sit/stand next to Frances in pictures. At the very least, my head looks huge in comparison.

Scandinavia -

A must stop....
Grilled Salmon Tartare- Don't let the name fool you, the salmon is delicious, we had a large portion on top a traditional flatbread. It was served chilled, with onions, capers and spices - very good.

Traditional Kjottkaker - Can't pronouce it, then ask for a meatball. It was a repeat taste for Sam. I had the cheese califlower pototoes accompanyment - also very good.

Lingonberry Mousse - Disappointing - esp. after last years dessert.

Wente Chardonnay

Carlsberg Beer - guess this explains the lack of wine. It was warm, so beer ruled......

Hummmm!!! I want to go to Scandinavia!!!

Ok ... I just can't stay away ... it's Friday ... beautiful day outside & I don't feel like being at work.

Looking forward to the weekend - my best friend will be in town. All ready to try the chocolate volcano (lava) cake & Banfi! Need to decide if I need to pick up another bottle. I do have 2 bottles of Chateau Elan dessert wine too but I'm not sure it will go as nicely with the chocolate as the Banfi will.

Emily dropped a sandstone coaster on her toe last night. Boy does that girl know how to turn on the drama! I'm sure it hurt but she's milking it. She had me write a note to her teacher saying that she may not feel like participating in P.E. today. We'll see what she does this afternoon when it's time for gymnastic and tomorrow when it's time for soccer. I'm sure she'll have a miraculous recovery.
