Looks like another slow day on the board. Well, at least I'm not that far behind!

Last day at the temp job today. I'm actually going to miss that place more than my perm job! I'm so excited to be done, though, because that puts me one step closer to the cruise! Next week at this time we'll be on our way to the airport. Can't wait!!!

Hi Sherry, have you lived here? I guess the Fishback studio is known outside of NM too. Well, it's a huge studio, I'm thinking 2000 kids take dance there? No, she has never danced there. We went to a studio called Lana's from another big studio in town, Alwin's, that primarily trains ballerinas. Lana's is now Dance Arts Center. It's small, and she's very happy there. She gets to do things like duos/trios (their duo beat out seven Fishback duo/trios), teach classes, choreograph routines. It's a good fit.

Hi, I lost internet service in the middle of DISng the other day. I didn't get to finish catching up!

Yes, I am a New Mexican. Years ago my mother taught dance in Espanola and Los Alamos. I'm not sure exactly how/when she became friends with the Fishbacks. My mom has been back in NM (Santa Fe) for 6 or 7 years. She (76 yrs old) and Katherine (80 something) hang out so to speak. My mom will spend a night or two in ABQ with Katherine. They invite her for holidays. Be warned though - sometimes they drive to the movies - stay away! My mothe r has this little white ford escort with fake flowers taped to the antenna so she can find her car in the parking lot. My kids are afraid to ride with her - I am too!

This is stupid. Kiki, you were right...it's too much stuff. My feet are killing me, and I haven't even put any clothes into bags yet. Just the carry-ons and all the extra crap.

And then the dog saw the bags and decided to piddle on the floor.



But yes...Diana...you definitely win. But you'll also get more vacation than most of us. Besides, I just remembered....this is ALL YOUR FAULT!

Also, how long after Christmas does the Magic and CC stay holiday decorated?

This will be our first cruise without a Christmas tree and decorations.

We sailed Jan 2 - 5th (a 4 day) - still all decorated.
We sailed November 12 - 18 - started with decorations in the port - ended with the Tree up....

Keets are nice and clean...Cockatiel is nice and clean.....All pets to be nice and clean before we leave...almost done.....Pet sitter confirmed - he will be coming down to bestow love and affection...or at least food....

Maybe it is now time for dinner......Sam went to the store for essentials, which tonight is Beer and??? something salty and bad for me I hope...like chips....(I should be eating lettuce but I am stressed.....)

Besides, I duct taped the drawers - no swimsuit snickers in my house...

Well I am back from my 'Business trip' to Turks & Caicos, it was an enjoyable time. Wecame home with tons of fish..and a decent base tan for our trip, now I am in recovery mode, which I should be fully recovered by the time we getto JB's. SInce there has been about 1500 posts since I left, there is no way I would be able to read them all.

5. No rock shrimp at JB's... but we can go there any time.

6. Discussion about rubber bands on the door, no pants, and wine... 'nuff said.

My tiara is a bittoo small now.

Number 6 sounds interesting you have to expand the explanation on that one
